CHEER UP COTTAGE. Located right on North Beach.

The quintessential Summer Beach Cottage. NO STEPS OR BLUFF to navigate on your way to the Lake. Just a flat level stroll to the sandy shore in less than 30 seconds. The cottage is tucked away on The Promenade in a quiet section of the beach.

The all in one Kitchen and Living areas provide great spaces for family and friends to gather, sharing lively conversation and great food.

Cheer Up Cottage sleeps 7 in 3 bedrooms. 1 bedroom has a queen bed, the 2nd a double bed and the 3rd bedroom has bunkbeds with a queen on the lower bunk and twin above. A laundry facility is included for your convenience.

Outside. The spacious deck, with smashing views of the Lake and North Beach, provide lots of room for alfresco dining, watching kids at play or just enjoying the beautiful Michigan weather. On the side is a grassy area, perfect for yard games and storing bikes and water toys.

Our quiet coastal town is steeped in Maritime traditions. The Maritime Museum and our very own Tall Ship, Friends Good Will, is just a short stroll away. Be sure to make a reservation on Friends and sail the greatest of the Great Lakes.

South Haven is a unique place, paced by the relaxing rhythm of the sea. It's chock full of family activities: trendy restaurants, river side pubs, water sports, parks, our old-fashioned movie theater and expeditions up the Black River.

Great little cottage by the beach

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was just the right size for our small family, and while the inside isn't huge the deck had plenty of space for us and the occasional dinner guests. The location can't be beat, with just a short walk to the beach.

Great family get together house

In my opinion it is an efficient property that worked well for us as a vacation home. In a condition that indicates it may have been updated tastefully and simply recently. Kids complained about their mattresses, but, I slept like a rock on mine. Just right. The beach is indeed viewed nicely like the pictures. There is a vacant lot for sale that allows the view. Beach access is a short side-walk jog away. Ice cream shop at the beach was a hit. Nice big beach. Able to easily keep space around us while we were there. Manager very accessible and helpful. 5 stars I guess for everything!

Cozy, clean, close to the beach - this place has it all!

Stayed for a week with my husband and 2 teen sons and enjoyed ourselves very much. The cottage has everything you need for a comfortable and pleasant stay in South Haven. Very good communication, easy, check-in, fantastic location within walking distance to beach, marina, town, everything to enjoy the area. Look forward to going back in the future!
