Other than the little black bugs in the shower and the couple of cockroaches, this place worked out ok for the 7 of us. Beds were reasonably comfortable. Only one dishtowel and now dishwasher. Chinatown neighborhood kind of sketchy. Pool worked out well. If we ever come to Honolulu again, we will not stay here.

Unfortunately communication with host was the worst, had to contact VRBO to get help. Never received the instructions to have access to property, she didn’t reply at all. Had to wait 45 minutes in the lobby after a long flight from California. The stairs for the loft are not very stable, there’s no access to restroom form the loft, you have to take the stairs down to use the restroom. The wine glasses were dirty, like they had not been washed in over a year. The sliding glass door is very heavy and needs some maintenance to help it slide easier.

Our group was disappointed in this stay. For starters the amount of homeless people right outside the lobby was alarming for a mother walking with young kids, not to mention the smell of urine you must endure all the way into the lobby of this condo. The condo has a kitchen with basic stove top cooking utensils, but no oven sheets at all! So do not plan on using the oven. Every night we saw cockroaches in the upstairs bathroom which made our children uneasy. I also want to mention the elevator system was a nightmare, you must pay close attention to which one you need to use. If you have a car, please note there is a side door next to the elevators that you can go in, this will take you straight to your floor. However, if you use the elevators in the parking garage you must go to the lobby and jump over to another elevator to get to your floor. We did this with a Costco load of groceries (not recommended). Lastly, when we arrived the condo was so hot my kids could not get to sleep. We turned on the AC (and the units are controlled by light switches on the wall and the remote – make sure to keep the switches on) but it took almost 3 hours to get to a comfortable temp for sleeping. Overall, it was disappointing.
