This was quite a beautiful anniversary retreat for us. We loved the uniqueness - all the windows and the hot tub. It was perfect.

The Lens Lodge was spotless. Everything was clean, host gave great directions & service & the location was perfect for our family. We were actually expecting cramped, tiny house quarters, but the house was very comfortable, kitchen was well stocked & the hot tub was a huge added bonus. Couldn’t have been better for my child’s b-day who’s an aspiring photographer - thank you Matthew!

OMG! There is so much that I can say about the Lens Lodge. It was an adventure of a lifetime. It was definitely a photographer's dream. This was the perfect Girl's Trip Getaway. The house was very clean and pristine. Matthew, the host was wonderful. The attention to detail is amazing and the trip served the purpose to jumpstart my 55th birthday in a few months. I would recommend the Lens Lodge if you want to do something different. Why do a regular cabin when you can do the Lens Lodge.

This property is the most unique and quiet place I have ever visited! I love everything about the location, the views, the serenity , the woods, the windows all over the house to see outside while inside is a plus! There is nothing negative I can say about this cabin, literally a dream! Get foods and drink before calling it a night tho, everything closes at 11!

The lodge was everything and more than we could imagine. The house is fully stocked with everything you need, no need to pack the extra stuff, from phone chargers, touletries, state of the art appliances and more. The rain shower was wonderful. Great view of the mountain. I especially enjoyed sleeping in the lens. A super comfortable bed. It was like sleeping under the stars. Such a beautiful view looking out the large window. Was not quite cold enough for the fireplace, but it is beautiful when it is turned on. Matthew ( the owner) was readily available by e mail when we needed him, we locked ourself out at night and he responded quickly and guided us on how to get back in.The location is perfect, it was so peaceful. It is a long drive up the curvy sometimes steep gravel rd, but that is part of the experiance. If you like games, he has plenty of things to do inside. A firepit to build a fire and he even provided stuff for smores.this is a very unique place and is definetly a memorable place to stay. I highly recommend!

We wanted to totally get away from people for 6 days and just enjoy eachother. We work a lot and you sometimes forget to take TIME to just be. This home was one of the best places we have ever stayed. We did go to Ellijay one day and went to the Roof Restaurant & shops… other than that we stayed put! We shopped for groceries before we arrived and so we were set. Matthew has not forgotten one thing. If you need or want it he has thought of it. We truly loved the layout, beauty and uniqueness of the home. The bed was absolutely the coolest thing and a neat comfortable way to sleep. Every single thing about this house made you feel at home. Looking out the windows seeing the beautiful mountain never got old. And it’s sooooo quiet. Thank you Matthew… if you ever want to sell this home look me up. Cynthia & Faith
