Amazing vacation from start to finish. Beautiful cabin with all the amenities to make ever day wonderful. Our kids and grandkids had activities to do every day. Hot tub, frisbee golf, shuffle board darts and really just relaxing. Really enjoyed our stay at the Black Wolf Lodge.
We had the most amazing time at this cabin! We had 3 generations of family staying and everyone loved all that this cabin had to offer! It was impeccably clean and they had it fully stocked with everything you could ever need. The hosts were great and checked in to make sure we were having a good time. One of our favorite places we’ve ever stayed as a family! We absolutely would stay here again!

Enjoyable Cabin, But Some Serious Cleanliness ConcernsOverall, we enjoyed our stay while visiting Hochatown and Broken Bow. The cabin had some great features, and we especially enjoyed the hot tub, backyard area, deck, and game room. These were all nice additions that made our stay enjoyable. Unfortunately, though, there were several issues that took away from the experience, and one in particular that was absolutely unacceptable.Upon arrival, we noticed that the floors could have been cleaner, there was trash scattered around the property, and the BBQ grill had been left dirty. The cooking pans were also pretty heavily scratched up, so thankfully we brought some of our own. Additionally, the water pressure was absolutely awful and definitely could use some attention. While these things were frustrating, we could have looked past most of them as minor inconveniences. Unfortunately, the checkout experience was what really left a bad taste in our mouths. We were asked to strip the beds before leaving, which is completely fine. We have no problem helping out with checkout responsibilities. However, when we pulled back the bedding, we discovered that the mattress protector we had been sleeping on was covered in what appeared to be large urine and blood stains. And when I say large, I don’t mean a tiny spot or two. These were substantial stains that were impossible to miss once the bedding was removed.Absolutely disgusting.

Thank you for sharing your review and for letting us know how much you enjoyed the cabin’s game room, hot tub, and outdoor amenities.
We hold our home to rigorous standards, so we were disappointed to learn about the condition of the mattress protector. While all sheets and linens are freshly laundered between every stay, our cleaning crew relies on a detailed checklist that should have caught and replaced that protective layer. We’ve already reviewed this turnover with our team to ensure our inspection steps are strictly followed moving forward.
We also appreciate the feedback on the grounds and water pressure. Our team is available 24/7 during every stay, and we always want to know about these inconveniences during your stay so we have the opportunity to send someone over immediately to take care of them for you.
Thank you again for your feedback—it helps us keep our service sharp and ensure every guest has a seamless stay in the future.
Clean and well maintained house. Looked just like the pictures. Hot tub and sauna working and in great shape. Host was very responsive and open to feedback. Plenty of room for our group of 10 adults and 3 kids. Little touches like poop station, smart tv in every room, stocked coffee station, and decorated Christmas tree added so much to our stay. While not used, it was nice to have the BBQ grill connected to the house gas line vs a propane tank as we've been in rentals where the tank is depleted upon arrival.
