In the literal HEART of Safety Harbor, Florida, "JD's Hideaway by the Sea" is a charming 1 bedroom / 1 bath cottage, located on the grounds of a 1926 historical bungalow in the redevelopment district of downtown. It is decorated in romantic elegance and just 2 blocks from Main Street! It's a perfect get-a-way to enjoy some quiet time- away from the world. The Private Heated Pool & Spa is only for the guests! No sharing a pool like you do in an hotel! All private just for our guests.

*Key West architecture; Bright colors, open porches, tin roof, picket fence, and tropical landscaping.

The Cottage is modern and very comfortable. This is a non-smoking room which accommodates 2 persons.

- If we find that the cottage has been left excessively dirty, you may be charged for an additional cleaning time, or in extreme cases, if we have to hire a professional cleaning company the fee is going to be $150.00. Have fun, yes. Big house-party, no ;-)



Cancellations are Strict:
Cancel up to 7 days before check in and get a 50% refund (minus service fees). Cancel within 7 days of your trip and the reservation is non-refundable. Service fees are refunded when cancellation happens before check-in and within 48 hours of booking.

Everything was perfect and as described. Host went above and beyond our expectations and even had some water and a few snacks when we arrived. They give you total privacy to enjoy the outdoor space which was like an oasis. Comfortable stay in a great location

We had a wonderful stay in this little treasure of a cottage , just one block from Main St ,with plenty of eating places to choose from. The bed was super comfortable, the shower was great and the best part was the use of the private, quiet garden and pool. Many thanks to Roger and Kathleen , our unobtrusive hosts.

Wonderful stay!

This property was great for a quick couples getaway! We loved the pool/hot tub at the home, and walking the quaint streets of Safety Harbor. We did a few dinners near Clearwater Beach (25 minute drive), and had great convenient breakfast and lunch spots within a 2-4 minute walk of the cottage! Owners were responsive and there when we needed them!

Relaxing week in Safety Harbor

I chose this cottage because it offered me the use of the pool. The cottage included all the amenities I needed and the location was perfect for me to walk to breakfast, lunch, dinner and several parks. It was also located in a very quiet neighborhood. I will definitely stay here again!
