My husband and I just got home today from one of our most loved vacation spots!! The beach house was absolutely perfect for us! Very clean and cozy, but had everything we needed!! The weather was perfect, unfortunately we didn’t catch any fish, but we had a fantastic time trying!! I love the location and the house so much I already want to book it again for next year, but stay for two weeks if possible!!
Beautiful location, new back deck overlooking the ocean was a real highlight. Soft items like the living room couch and chair and the mattresses could use a refresh. The cottage has a nice kitchen, a new grill and a washer dryer for convenience. It’s a quiet spot with only houses on this beach. It is a rocky beach so bring your beach shoes, but waking to beautiful sunrises every day is amazing. Overall a great relaxing getaway.
The accommodations may be modest, but that didn't matter at all - we chose this rental for the fantastic location - right on the dunes on a long stretch of private beach. It was the perfect prescription for a lingering case of covid blues. The window air conditioner was a godsend during an unusually hot couple of days during our stay in June.
My wife and I stayed here and were so glad we did. This property is all about the location. This is where you go to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. Sitting on the deck watching the birds and occasionally a small whale basking in the bay. We collected seashells and seaglass at low tide on the beach and looked up at the sky full of stars at night. It was perfect waking up and having coffee on the deck every morning. There's also plenty to do in the area should the weather not cooperate. The home itself is very clean, slightly rustic, but in a good way. Nostalgic. We had a great time and would love to return.
Beachfront location couldn't be better! Cottage was clean and had everything you might need. The only minor thing was that the dining table chairs were pretty ragged and owner should consider fixing the seats or getting replacements. Seats were caned and in poor condition. At risk of falling through. Overall, a sweet cottage with beautiful views and a lovely beach. We enjoyed the large deck and listening to the waves
We truly enjoyed our week stay - the location can’t be beat. The cottage was incredibly neat, had A/C and was the ideal with a path to the beach. We couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay, the communication and the house.
Fantastic walk path to the beach off the deck, the place was charming and warm, with ocean breeze at night. Barbecue a nice feature. The kitchen and bath were great, WiFi strong and stable. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly, a comfortable distance from shops and restaurants.
Could not imagine a nicer place for a quiet family vacation at the beach. We loved it.
