Come enjoy a relaxing week at the beach while taking in all the exciting Charleston attractions...and only 25 minutes from the airport. This oceanfront home has a private boardwalk to the award winning IOP beach. You can't beat the LOCATION! The home is tucked away in a serene, quiet neighborhood away from the parking and beachgoers, yet within walking distance to the pier, restaurants, playground and shops. Easy access to the island connector bridge allows you to bypass the heavy traffic on Palm Blvd and Wild Dunes.
The house sits on a professionally landscaped double lot which offers panoramic views of the ocean and features an open floor plan allowing for an abundance of natural sunlight. The master bedroom has a king bed and private bathroom. Both the master bedroom and living room open to a screened porch with spectacular dune and ocean views. A second bedroom has a queen bed and the third bedroom has two double beds with an adjacent full bathroom. The large screened porch faces the ocean and is perfect for enjoying the sea breeze or for entertaining your guests. Numerous palm and oak trees surround the home for privacy from the adjacent neighbors.
There is a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, luxury linens, bath towels, beach towels, beach chairs, beach cart, beach toys, smart tvs, indoor and outdoor games and wireless secure internet. For those of you with infants we supply a Graco pack and play, baby gate and a space-saver high chair. The patio offers an easy dining option with a seating area and Weber gas grill. And after a day in the sun you can refresh yourself in the outdoor shower.
Your visit to this beautiful island and oceanfront home is a perfect opportunity for friends and family to gather and create lasting memories.

Please Note: Pets are NOT permitted. Smoking is NOT permitted. Maximum of six adults (or total of eight guests with kids) allowed and up to four cars parked in driveway due to city ordinance. Peak summer (June, July, August) weekly rental is from Saturday to Saturday only.

PLEASE INQUIRE ABOUT OFF-SEASON RATES: September through November with 3 night minimum stay (exception of Thanksgiving week which requires 7 night minimum stay).

Mary was very helpful and responsive both during the planning and after we arrived at the property. The house is just as pictured, beach is very close nearby, everything was clean and tidy. Mary sent a packet with recommendations of local sights and restaurants prior to our arrival, which was very helpful. The screened in porch was our absolute favorite part of the trip! Highly recommend this property.

Awesome Trip

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this property. The house worked out great for my family including my two granddaughters. Beach access was awesome, the house was clean, nicely decorated and well maintained. Our host was fully engaged during our stay making sure we arrived and checked in. She offered advice on places to eat and things to do in the area. We have been to Isle of Palms many times over the years and this trip was quite enjoyable due to the house and the host. I highly recommend this property and we will return soon.

Great place!

We really enjoyed this house for the long weekend of my sisters wedding. We are locals but really enjoyed being on the beach. The check in and check out processes were both super simple and the host was very communicative and welcoming!

We loved our stay!! The house was beautiful, the location is awesome, the private boardwalk to the beach was super convenient, and the cleanliness of the house and property was excellent. Mary went above and beyond to ensure our stay was pleasurable.

Nice house on the beach

We appreciated the pack and play and other beach toys there for out toddler to play with. It was a really nice location. Private access to the beach and a short drive to stores made it really convenient. Mary was great at communicating with me throughout my stay.

IOP wonderful getaway with family

This was a great place for our family to enjoy the beach and time together. A beautiful place, easy walk to the beach and great communication with the owner. We were welcomed with a spectacular sunrise in the morning. The back porch was a relaxing hang out area. The location was convenient to stores and restaurants. It was the prettiest landscape view heading out to the dunes on the street.

Fantastic host! Wonderful location

The property is very clean and has a wonderful coastal decor. The walk to the beach each morning to watch the sunrise was an amazing way to start the day! The kitchen has everything you could need and the host provided plenty of linens. The host was super communicative and provided lovely bonus amenities that made us feel like we were staying with a friend. It was super easy to get to downtown Charleston for fun and dining, etc. We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing view and kind host

The host provided us with the most amazing reading material to help plan our trip and understand the area. Her primary concern was to make sure we were there to relax and enjoy IOP! The house was clean and the pictures do a great job, but don’t show the true beauty. Everything was so perfect.

Wonderful Stay

The owner excelled with all communication before, during and after our stay. Home is in a quiet neighborhood near downtown Isle of Palms. It was the cleanest and well stocked rental we’ve ever had. Everything we could need including a wagon to haul things to the beach were there. The owners have literally anticipated every need. Beds were comfortable. There were games and puzzles galore. Best of all, as others have said, was the screen porch. Very comfortable chairs and rockers, the sound of waves to snooze by on the porch sofa, and the ocean

A gem!

It is all about location! Beautiful beach house with a private walk to the beach! If you like to watch the sunrise in the morning and the stars at night, this sweet place is for you! Also a short walk to two outstanding local restaurants- Acme and Sea Biscuit. Local grocery store a two minute ride! Screened in porch wonderful for relaxing with friends Thanks , Mary for a memorable get Away!

Beautiful IOP Property

This was our favorite beach rental in a long while. The direct beach access was wonderful and the view from the porch was great. We loved that the screened porch was large enough to all comfortably fit and read, snack, and/or play card games. The beds were so comfortable. I feel like this is not an area a lot of owners give great attention to, but the linens (included which were a huge plus) and beds made it so we could all sleep well and enjoy the week. The location was excellent with a short drive to Sullivan's Island and into Charleston. We also walked to the beach shops and places to eat in nearby IOP. The house was well stocked and Mary was very, very responsive to texts with questions or minor issues. We appreciated her hospitality and would definitely rent here again to enjoy the wide, beautiful IOP beaches.

Charm + Comfort

We thoroughly enjoyed our week here with my parents and our kids. The location is old coastal charm, with a naturalized area along the private boardwalk where you hear crickets, frogs and birds. You can enjoy the natural area and ocean views plus the sound of the waves from the screened-in porch where we spent most evenings and mornings. The beach location is near the lifeguard-protected area next to the pier, but the beach in front of the property never felt too crowded. The house is also very convenient (a couple of minutes) to the local grocery and Simmons Seafood shop which made meals easy. We enjoyed going into Mt Pleasant for kayaking (15-20 min), and into Charleston one day for great restaurants (25 min). The house was perfectly appointed with, it seemed, all amenities carefully through through -- beach cart, cabana, chairs and boogie boards, etc. for outdoors -- plenty of spices, two kinds of coffee makers, etc. for the kitchen. The bedrooms were comfortable, the house was nicely decorated and easy living for 6. And Mary was a great host and communicator. We hope to stay here again in the future.

Exceeded expectations.

We could not have asked for more in a beach rental. The house was spotless and made us feel like they were at home. The kitchen was stocked with basics like aluminum foil, bags, paper towels, etc. Bug spray was on the counter to protect from the local mosquitoes. I can go on and on :) The space was perfect for our family to relax and as others noted, the screened-in porch was ideal for the setting and allowed our young son to have plenty of space to wander around. In addition to the many amenities, we were right on the beach, and a few steps away from a great grocery store. When we ready to stretch out legs, we were extremely close to the many restaurants in the Sullivan's Island downtown area, just around the corner from 517 to Mt. Pleasant, and under a 20 minute ride to Charleston. Mary was extremely attentive to our needs throughout the trip; sending messages during the week to confirm everything was going well. Overall, I highly recommend.

Family vacation and birthday celebration

This place was PERFECT! While the pictures are accurate, they really don't do this charming house justice. This kitchen was well stocked. The bedrooms were roomy and comfortable. But really the star was the screened in porch! This vacation week was focused on relaxation and the porch provided this without any work what so ever. Coffee and breakfast in the mornings with the sun rising and lingering into the mid morning when the decision had to be made...linger a little longer or walk down the private boardwalk to the beach? IN the evenings, when we returned back from golf or being a tourist (How fabulous is the Deep South and Charleston for history buffs!) we would eat on the porch and then play cards late into the evening as the ocean breeze keep us cool. Mary was easy to communicate with and very friendly and accommodating. I have worried that Hurricane Matthew may have done some damage to the house....I hope not, because I intends to return to this small slice of heaven.

Very Serene and Welcoming Beach Home

My husband and I literally looked at places all over the world in which to celebrate and spend our 25th wedding anniversary. Several of our friends told us that their most enjoyable place ever was the Charleston area and Isle of Palms. We began our search and found wonderful owners (Mary and Bill) that we could tell loved their beach house and took great pride in renting out that enjoyment to others. From the time we entered the beach house till sadly when we left, we felt so comfortable there. Everything is updated and soft coloring throughout. The screened in porch allowed us to enjoy our breakfast and dinner outside whether it was a chilly morning or raining. The beach house is located close to Charleston so you can enjoy the flavors and history there as well as the history and serenity of life on Isle of Palms. We felt very much at home here as well did our guests that we invited to help us celebrate our 25th anniversary. There are some fabulous restaurants on Isle of Palms. In fact we had our celebration dinner at Cosa del Pesce in Isle of Palms on the beach. The surrounding environment in Isle of Palms was peaceful and quiet. We will surely come back to spend more time here as a week is not enough to see all that this area has to offer. Thank you Mary and Bill for opening your lovely beach house for others to enjoy!

Our family of 5 enjoyed a very comfortable stay and especially loved the easy access to the beach! The washing machine was unexpectedly out of service but Mary went out of her way to make sure it didn’t detract from our stay. What an amazing find on IOP. This property is very convenient, but also very private. We enjoyed our own private walkway to the pristine beach. This house had everything that we needed with a fully stocked and neatly organized kitchen and with plenty of beach chairs, umbrella, and cart for use. The screened in porch is an absolute gem- very large, private, and comfortable. Mary thought of everything and there were sweet personal touches throughout the house. It was nice to communicate with her too. Highly recommend!!! It was a perfect mom/grandma/daughter trip and it would be absolutely perfect for a family too.

Perfect Beach Getaway with Stunning Views & Most Gracious Host

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful oceanfront home! The views are absolutely stunning — you can enjoy them right from the spacious porch facing the ocean, which quickly became our favorite spot to relax. The beds were incredibly comfortable, making it easy to unwind after a day at the beach. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed, and there were plenty of beach essentials provided, which was a huge plus. Parking was never an issue with the ample space available. Best of all, the host was the nicest and made us feel so welcome. Highly recommend this place for a perfect beach getaway!
