Lakeside Cottage in Assembly Park Great for Families and Large Groups.

This 3 bedroom 1.5 bathroom cottage is located inside the Assembly Park Association on beautiful Lake Delavan, WI. The Cottage floor plan allows for easy flow from one room to the next with many places to relax and unwind after a busy day on the Lake. The kitchen has the basics needed for that summer BBQ including an outdoor grill. The enclosed porch is the place to be to enjoy views of Lake Delavan and spend time with family and friends. The second floor houses the 3 bedrooms, full bath with shower and claw-foot tub, and a large landing area perfect for playing games or adding extra sleepers (2 futons and space for air mattresses or sleeping bags).
Outside, you are steps from the water, beach, and to the association's many parks with basketball court, baseball diamond, shuffle board, and playgrounds. Load your boat into the water on the Association's private boat launch and talk to us about pier rental.

The cottage is located 1.7 miles from Lake Lawn's Golf course. The property is also located within walking distance to a few lake front bars and the Delavan store.

Fun lake home!

Family Friendly

The property was very convenient to the lake, grocery stores, and Lake Lawn Resort. The grandchildren enjoyed the beach and the playground, all within a short walking distance. There were additional outdoor and board games available to play with. The house had plenty of space for all of our guests. Nice big table and plenty of seating. Mary was very attentive and cordial. We enjoyed our stay very much.

fantastic group vacation

If you are looking for a house for a big group of people and want to be close to the lake, this house fits the bill. House was great very clean and fully stocked on kitchen basics and linens. The owner Mary was fantastic and answered all my emails almost immediately. She even made sure we had enough chairs and towels for our large party. I would highly recommend renting this property.

Family friendly home with great access to water

This home is perfect for a family get away. A short 1 minute walk to the water/pier. Great beach and park area. Kids could safely ride their bikes/walk around the community. Would definitely come back! Anna is great to talk to and easy to get ahold of! The kitchen was nicely stocked as well!

Perfect Kid and Adult "Reset" After Quarantine

The property is perfect for families and I literally got tingles when walking in after 3 months of Quarantine. It is decorated on the porch ,living and kitchen areas with fun, but meanignful sayings regarding family and lake life. They are so good I am going to post my pics of the sayings on FB as we all need a little uplift right now. The Assembly Park neighborhood is a family mecca with outdoor basketball courts, a baseball field, a great beach, multiple playgrounds and often great fishing. All the streets are paved in pavers and the 10 mph speed limit makes it perfect for family bike riding or the kiddos to take off and explore on their on.. Anna, adds extra touches that are both heartfelt and exceptionally considerate such as a Happy Birthday note and cake. True gracious hospitality. The fishing off of the public pier( quite small, but very productive ) is a real treat and the 3 year old caught her first bluegill and my 12 year caught a 4 lb bass. Both were first for each. Their Lakehouse is steeped in the owners personal family history but not excessive, yet you feel the love that has been shared in the home by the family over the years. Nearby homeowners are very friendly and everyone waves with a smile on their face. If you spend a few days with your family at the home, a short 50 yards from the pier and lake, your entire family will be smiling as well. Isn't that what we want for all of our families , to see their broad,j oyfilled smile in these unprecedented times? We have already booked 3 more days for July 2020 and will book for 2021 as soon as the booking tool opens for 2021. You are going to love this place!

Awesome Cozy Little Place

Me and 5 friends rented this place for a wedding weekend instead of a hotel and it could not have worked out better. Plenty of space, great area and right next to the lake. Could nor have asked for more.

Relaxing Weekend Getaway

My family and I really enjoyed our weekend getaway at this lakehouse. It is a couple minutes from the beach and lake, and only about a 20 minute drive to Geneva. The bedrooms are spacious, and the beds are comfortable. The kitchen is equipped with cooking ware to make meals for your family. In addition, there is a gas grill outside which we used to grill a BBQ lunch. We loved the lake house themed decor of this place. It really added to the charm! The owner Anna was easy to communicate with. Do not hesitate to book!

Delavan 2019 Rental

This property is in a really nice location. Parks and beach for the kids to play in. Great lake views from the enclosed porch. 3 separate areas to congregate in on the first floor and all bedrooms upstairs is nice. We could be together or off in a separate space. Rented pier for my boat was really convenient. Only drawbacks were no washer/dryer (even though there were hookups for them), and no dressers or closets in the bedrooms for clothes. Had to live out of suitcases. Owner was very accomodating and communicated well. Overall, very nice property and will likely use it again.

Incredibly Great Lake House, Steps from Lake and Private Beach

We had such a good time staying at this Lake House. Anna couldn't be more rwsponsive and attwntice5, we sent her many questions. Thanks, Anna! The only reason I went with 4 stars for online listing is because I don't thinknots doea the house justice. The kitchen is stocked with dishes, pans and utensils. And the community is beautiful. There's a private beach within steps with a fun slide and the neighbors are friendly. Thank you, we totally enjoyed staying here!

Best ever for families or a romantic getaway!

Amazing home with killer water views and steps away from a pier where we caught a 35 inch Pike, a 22 inch walleye and a 5 lb bass. A real treat for families is the massive community park, play ground and swimming area that your kids can roam likes us kids did in the 1960’s. We will be back and I encourage you to try this hidden gem of a home.

Great location if you enjoy fishing

Home is clean and have plenty of sleeping area for our fishing group. We had a decent size group. Parking was ok. We had 4 boats and 8 vehicles. There was only one road that vehicles can park on which made it challenging. We were also getting disgruntled neighbors due to us using some of parking space with our vehicles and boats. We did have another issue with someone coming by and harassing one of my friends about the rental property and if the owner have license to rent. That person should address it with the property owner and not us. It made the stay quite uncomfortable. I just hope it was not racially driven. I did communicate this to the owner and she was apologetic and even gave our group a $75 ecard. Owner was great to work with.

The home was clean and cute, with everything we needed in the kitchen, and plenty of space for all of us to gather in the living room, front porch, or kitchen. If we can't find our own lake house to buy in Delavan, we'll rent here again.
