We had such a wonderful time at The River House! The property was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated. It felt very spacious and the hot tub was such a fun addition for our group to enjoy, as it did get cold when we visited in January! Crystal River is such a beautiful area with so many activities, we did a kayak tour and swam with manatees! This would be a perfect rental for families or friend groups, and we hope to visit again in the summer for scalloping season.

Cathrine was extremely communicative, which is fantastic! The house was just as she described. We loved that it was open, inviting and updated. It was the perfect headquarters for our manatee excursion from Pete's Pier.

Had a great time at the rental, the layout really utilized the space well. Kids room was a blast, our son loved all of the bunk beds and gaming chairs. Wife and mother in law loved the new spa on the spacious porch, and it was handy having the 2nd fridge for out adult beverages. Will definitely book again the next time we are in the Crystal River area for a fishing trip.

This was truly one of the most fantastic properties I have ever stayed at. From the moment we arrived, it was clear how much care, thought, and pride went into every detail of this home. The space was impeccably clean, beautifully maintained, and incredibly welcoming—comfortable without sacrificing style.The location was perfect, offering both convenience and a sense of escape, and the property itself had everything we could possibly need to relax and enjoy our time together. It felt like a home, not just a place to stay, which made the experience that much more special.This stay exceeded every expectation and created memories we will cherish for a long time. The River House was fantastic and more than we hoped for! Cathrine was probably the most responsive host I’ve had and made sure everything was in order. The outdoor space was larger than we realized from the photos and the hot tub was excellent! Location for fishing or going to the springs is hard to beat!For those wanting to bring a boat, the boat dock is floating which is super helpful and I was able to leave my boat at the dock the entire week. If the tide got close to 0 feet at lowest there would be about 5-6” of water at the docks edge and it’s plenty of water for a small 16” boat empty. Mud bottom so it just barely sits in it. I have an 8” draft. With that being said don’t plan on going in or out during the absolute lowest tide (around 0 feet). That was never an issue for us. Hope that helps someone out
