Ideally located, Compass Cabin welcomes you to a peaceful mountain getaway. The main floor is an open concept living, dining, and cooking space where you can enjoy time together and offers a main floor bedroom (queen bed) and full bath (heated floors), as well as a laundry room. Ample space to enjoy meal preparation and a memorable family meal.

The second floor has another private bedroom with 3-piece ensuite master bath (large shower and heated floors) and room to stretch out. The adjoining loft area with 4-seater table is great for games and a has a queen bed. Plenty of room for kids to play as well.

The main draw to this home is its convenient location halfway between Stevens Pass for those skiers and the Bavarian village of Leavenworth. A quick 25 minutes to the summit and you can hit the slopes or 20 minutes the other way for shopping and dining in a picturesque location.

The owner has put in a lot of extras in this home that will enhance your stay such as radiant floor heat, wine cooler, propane grill, outdoor private hot tub with ambient lighting and much, much, more. Look forward to having you at the Compass Cabin.

Overall lovely stay for our short trip out of town. The home would benefit from a fan to help heat the large space with the fireplace and (maybe this is me) but tissues! Regardless, we had a lovely stay and enjoyed playing the in the snow and relaxing in the hot tub.

Very nice cabin with amenities and comfy beds! They noticed me that the power was out when we arrived but it came back on by 8pm and was no big deal. Would be extra nice if the yard was fenced for the dogs and if there was body lotion in addition to the shampoo/conditioner/body wash but still would stay there again!

Awesome cabin!

The house was stocked with everything you could think of! It was pretty and clean, with lots of room. Excellent trip and only 20 mins from Stevens Pass. There are two places to eat within walking distance also....great experience!

Thanksgiving in the woods

We (my husband, daughter, her husband and 2 children) spent Thanksgiving at this cabin. Everything we needed was provided. There was some snow and the kids had fun with that. It was decorated for Christmas, which was fun. The only down side was the taste and smell of the water, which we were warned about. The cabin was warm and cozy.

Very clean and convenient to both Leavenworth and Steven's Pass. The Dish TV service and internet are unreliable, but we were there to enjoy nature, not to spend hours using tech, so it wasn't a big loss to us.

Wonderful stay

We really enjoyed our stay! Loved the hot tub and deck area. Very clean. We were there with kids 4 months to 6 years and it was very kid friendly. The heated floors in the bathrooms was simply amazing, that gets 5 stars alone! The beds were too soft for our liking, but that’s just a personal preference. One thing we didn’t like was the pots and pans were very scratched up so it made cooking a bit unpleasant as it felt like we were eating the coating. Overall a great, family oriented house.

We have rented in this specific area before due to its proximity from Steven's Pass Ski Resort and the town of Leavenworth. The cabin was amazing. The cabin was immaculate and had everything our family needed and more to include board games, high chair, child-safe gate, dog bowls, boot dryer, etc. The hot tub was a perfect way to end the ski day and the huge kitchen and open floor plan made cooking entertaining! We definitely plan on returning to the cabin!

We stayed during June, so the drive to town was beautiful. It took us about 25 minutes but I don't think I'd want to make this drive during December without 4 wheel drive or all wheel drive. We found it to be nice and quiet there although you can hear the road from the house. Not a big deal though. We would love to stay here again and will do so when we come to Leavenworth during any season other than winter.

Great Cabin for Family with Young Kids and Dog

Nice cabin, still has that new build feel. Very clean and well laid out. Kitchen was well stocked. We forgot to pack dishes/utensils for our toddler, luckily they had a few kid kitchen utensils to get us by. If the hosts are looking for recommendations, I would stock up a bit more with kid kitchen dishes/utensils. We had one toddler so we were ok. Communication was pretty good. Only negative was we were depending on using the washer/dryer to wash clothes from another adventure we were coming from, but to our surprise there was a note on the washer that said it was out of order, would have been good to know ahead of time so we could have planned accordingly, so we had to improvise. Called host they responded quickly, kinda offered to try to help find a solution, but we figured it out ourselves, didn’t want to keep playing back and forth phone calls during our first days of vacation. We survived, but that was really the only negative. Overall I would recommend, great place, happy to find a place that was kid and dog friendly. That’s another thing, they satisfied our last minute request to add a dog to our stay with a quick response time, so that was pretty cool.

Girl Weekend

Had a very nice relaxing weekend with my girlfriends. The hot tub was very clean as well as the whole house. The only drawback was the TV was mounted extremely high, but overall a fantastic day and we will be back.

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin and will definitely come back! The place was the cleanest VRBO we have stayed in and the beds were the most comfortable. Kitchen was well-stocked. Convenient location between Leavenworth and Lake Wenatchee. Dish TV was glitchy and did not work most times but I suspect it has to do with the remote location.

Beautiful home

The house was beautiful. Very clean and great setup. The only thing we couldn’t get over was the smell of the well water. I grew up with a well and never experienced such a strong sulfur smell that this house had. This would be the only reason why I wouldn’t return to this place. Even after going in the hot tub my daughters hair reeked like sulfur.
