Full-Size Four-Wheel Drive is required in Winter. Two parking spaces. All Wheel Drive or Small 4 Wheel Drives, WILL NOT get you up the steep drive to the parking area, due to snow depth and steep terrain.

In winter, Stevens Pass is about forty minutes for downhill skiing, and cross-country trails wind through closer valleys.
Getting Around:

Winter guests should note that the steep driveway requires a full-size four-wheel-drive vehicle when snow is present to ensure safe access. Please note that during winter months, the steep driveway to Bear Ridge requires a full-size four-wheel-drive vehicle. All-wheel-drive and smaller four-wheel-drive vehicles cannot navigate the grade when snow is present. Drive fifteen minutes and you are on Front Street, browsing shops, tasting brats at München Haus, or catching a festival at the Festhalle.
