The host is great at answering any questions you may have and the house is comfy, extremely clean and welcoming. The location is also great. I look forward to staying here again.
What a wonderful stay! The screened in porch and hot tub alone are worth the price. Seven minutes away from the nearest store was right balance of privacy/convenience for me. I look forward to the next opportunity to return!

Ben,
Great to hear you enjoyed your time at the cabin. The front porch is my favorite place to spend time especially in the am with my coffee.
Thank you. Happy Holidays.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is so close to the lake and to land mark TN hiking trails. We love the outdoors... but coming back to the cabin and enjoying the hot tub was an additional treat!

Amazing Weekend Getaway!
My friend and I had a blast staying at this quaint country cabin. We especially loved the screened-in porch with hot tub and ample seating areas. What I appreciated most was how well stocked this place was -- from towels to cooking utensils to extra pillows -- the host has thought of everything! Highly recommend.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a wonderful review. We hope you keep us in mind the next time you need a getaway.
We have stayed at this property twice now. It is exactly as described and feels so much like home. It's quiet and cozy, and just what we needed. The area is perfect and the neighbors are great as well.
If you want a quiet getaway with lake access near then this is the perfect location.

Melissa,
So glad you enjoy your stays at the CHL property. We are looking forward to summer when everyone can enjoy the property and the lake access. Summer can't come soon enough.
Thank you and hope to hear from you again.
The property was very clean and comfortable and the boat ramp is 2 min away. The gas and charcoal grills were the cleanest I have ever experienced in the cabin rentals. Very private and quiet: while there are neighbors, the cabin offers good amount of privacy. Overall, I would highly recommend the cabin.

Had a great time! Charming-vintage cabin. It was stocked with everything we needed and very clean! The hot tub was great and the Webber charcoal grill was put to work. Great screened in deck for enjoyment in the morning for breakfast and evening to enjoy fine spirits and my wife. A vintage stereo on the back porch broadcasts some fine tunes. Excellent stay, thanks

So happy you enjoyed your stay at the cabin. Need to get the Farah Fawcett print reframed to add to collection.
Thank you for choosing our cabin.
This rental felt like a home away from home. It was absolutely peaceful. The house was clean and we had no issues! I did message Carolyn one time and she responded promptly to make sure our needs were taken care of. We will definitely be back!

You are too sweet Peaches. I'm very pleased to hear that you're beef wellington went well too! Maybe next anniversary a beautiful standing rib roast is in order. Thank you for the kind review and hope to hear from you again.
This house was very nice and clean! We were very happy when we entered to find how clean it was, no smell, very spacious and well stocked :)
I’m always a little concerned about renting site unseen but felt very at home here.
There is a very nice boat launch only 1/2 mile away and couple marinas within 15 min boat ride. Our only concern was the gate entrance that isn’t very wide, at an angle from the road and having to turn around on your grass. If someone has a large boat, it might not make it in. We have a fish/ski combo and it was a close fit. Just more of an FYI for others to know.
Thank you for the stay and we hope to be back in the fall for fishing!

Lorene,
Would love to see you back this fall. Glad you enjoyed your summer stay.
Yes, gate isn't as wide as it probably should be but our pontoon fit so never made adjustments.
Thanks for staying.

The host responded promptly, with questions regarding how to use the TV no written directions, The bathroom wasn’t well-maintained, with black mold around the shower doors and patio door tracks. We did not attempt to use the shower as I have upper a respiratory conditionWe also found numerous mouse droppings in the stove drawer, making the cooking sheets unusable the appearance of them are old and extremely dirty. The quilt on the bed in the bedroom near the kitchen was not clean and had stains on it,which further detracted from the comfort. The stairs present a significant challenge, especially for older visitors; I personally fell face down and sustained severe bruising at the bottom where a tree root has lifted the pavement. Although we resecured the hazard tape to alert others, this issue needs urgent attention. It’s also important to note in the advertisement that stairs are the only entrance to the cabin. Additionally, parking at the top of the hill is on uneven terrain, making it risky—particularly since the passenger side door won’t stay open and could potentially hit someone trying to get out of the car. These issues should be addressed to ensure a safer, more welcoming experience.
