Weekend escape
This property is nothing short of heaven! The views are breathtaking. They have just about everything you need and then some! I also had the chance to do a reiki session with Brenda while there and I highly recommend it! She’s authentic and takes the time to educate you. This weekend was heaven on earth! We were hiding out while we put our house on the market and she allowed us to check in a day early ($) and stay later into the afternoon Perfection!

Relaxing retreat
We had an amazing time with so much to explore on the property. Fantastic view of the valley from the grill/fire pit area. Impressed by the fire pits prepared to light and the abundance of wood available. Nicely stocked kitchen and plenty of games and activities. Our friendly host, Brenda, was eager to help with our every need. Thank you for a great stay!

Wedding weekend getaway
This was the perfect house for our family to stay at during a wedding weekend in Spring Run. Communication with the host was easy and fast and they were very accommodating. Check in was easy and the house was very clean and fully stocked with everything we needed for the stay. The location was gorgeous and the guys in our group enjoyed playing frisbee golf. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great getaway.

Joe is a meat manager for a local grocery chain and I sell Real Estate. I also do energy work called Reiki and Chakra Clearing besides growing & selling medicinal herbs, plants & products. Our son Julian and his wife Kama live in Colorado with their dog, Luna.
We purchased this 22 acre property 27 years ago and built the house 10 years later. . We just love it here. The view of the valley and mountains, the stars, the special areas in the woods and by the streams are a site to behold. Bella, Bud and Mooshie are our 3 dogs. They bark at everyone’s arrival, even at us when coming home or towards the house. They are very friendly though. The biggest dog, Bella, is very shy, Bud wants to take off hunting and the smallest, Mooshie, wants to say “hi and hold me”. They are kept under control so as not to bother you unless you request otherwise. The dogs are vital in keeping away unwanted wildlife and being part of our security system.
We have recently remodeled the pole barn which has been used for yoga and energy work during Holistic Retreats hosted here. Campsites in the woods have been cleared to offer more housing to Retreat guests. A refrigerator, microwave, drip coffee maker, and toaster oven and internet access have been added to the pavilion amenities. The Tiny House is a new addition to our housing rentals at Burns Valley Herbals and Retreat. It offers a comfortable step up from tent camping while still enjoying the outdoors and sounds of the stream.
