Townhouse on King

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located townhouse in the heart of downtown Shippensburg. Pet friendly, kid friendly, home away from home! Come relax at our 4 bedroom, 1.5 bath townhouse on King Street within walking distance to several restaurants and stores. You'll find a fully equipped kitchen & washer/dryer unit on the main floor. Relax on the back patio with the propane fire pit or in one of the four beautiful bedrooms in this 3-story townhome.

Our home has 4 bedrooms and 1.5 baths. We are pet friendly and kid friendly with amenities to make your life easier! Bed linens and towels come with the unit and there is laundry on site in case you need to wash something while you are visiting. This townhouse is private, 3 full floors for you and your family or friends.

The main floor of the townhouse comes with a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, oven/stove & microwave. There is a Keurig, as well as a regular coffee pot, cookware and basic kitchen utensils. The downstairs 1/2 bath located off the kitchen has a stand up washer dryer unit, a toilet and sink. The dining room which is located just off the kitchen seats 6-8 people comfortably around the large farmhouse table with additional pull out leaves if needed. The living room at the front of the townhouse has a L-shaped couch and TV for comfy nights and extra lounging space.

On the second floor you will find 3 bedrooms and a full bathroom. The back bedroom has a queen sized bed and a dresser. The middle bedroom has a double (full) sized bed and dresser. The front bedroom has a king sized bed and dresser as well as small seating area by the window. Each bedroom has a TV and closet space. The bathroom has a regular sized bathtub and shower setup, a toilet and a sink.

On the third floor you will find a large seating area with TV and couch, and a separate bedroom with a queen size bed and dresser.

The backyard is fully fenced with a 6ft privacy fence and 6-unit parking space at the rear of the fenced yard. There is a patio with outdoor furniture and a propane firepit. You will also find a small sitting space on both the front and side porch area of the townhouse. Each porch is railed and semi-private.

We really enjoyed our stay at this cute early 1900s townhome in Shippensburg. It’s full of character and super cozy, with four bedrooms that gave everyone plenty of space. The house is well appointed with everything you need, right down to a personal blender for your favorite beverages. It was perfect for relaxing evenings on the patio, especially with the firepit’s cozy ambiance.The location was great—close to Gettysburg and Hershey Park, both under an hour away, making day trips easy and convenient. If you forgot anything, shopping is close by. The host was friendly and gave clear instructions, which made everything smooth.If you’re looking for a charming, historic place to stay with easy access to some top attractions, this is a fantastic choice. We’d definitely stay here again!

This is a great central location, close to interstate 81, Shippensburg University, And many other local tourist destinations. We originally bought the house as a rental but soon decided short term rentals suited us much better and showcase the beauty and uniqueness of this house.

What makes this property unique

Townhouse on King was built in 1924 and is located on the East end of Shippensburg, PA but still within walking distance of many restaurants and shops. The house has retained many of its 100 year old original features like stained glass, 5-panel hardwood doors and original hardware, and hardwood trim throughout. But it also has many modern updates like a new kitchen, bathrooms and comfy furniture. Whether you're touring Shippensburg University, vacationing or exploring in South Central PA, travelling for work or just passing through, come stay with us and you won't be disappointed!
