Great stay

The rental was very clean and everything worked great. My family and I had a blast. It is up the mountain though very scary at first when you have to drive up there but once you get used to it not so bad. We would def stay again.

Wonderful family vacation

Very nice and clean place.. we absolutely love it! Located up in the mountains so be prepared to make a lot of turns as you climb up. The view is worth it!

We loved the condo. Clean, kitchen was well equipped, gorgeous view from the back porch. Directions to the condo were confusing. We ended up using he name of the condominium complex to locate. Would stay again.

Cozy and good price

We loved our stay here! We fit 3 adults and 2 kids comfortably! We were surprised to see there is wifi ! We enjoyed the small pool and hot tub to ourselves! We ordered delivery from ski mountain pizza and it was delicious! The drive up to the unit is a little scary but then you get used to it! It was awesome being so high up in the mountain yet still 5 min away from downtown Gatlinburg! We really enjoyed our stay here!

Mountain view condo

Very BEAR themed- we stopped counting at 143 bears. 😉 The space was clean and provided standard amenities. It was pleasant to have washer/dryer access and a nice porch. The swimming pool hours were slightly confusing due to different signage but the kids still enjoyed. Driving access is via very steep and winding roads.

The bathrooms floors and baseboards wete not clean. Our refrigerator quit working the first night we were there. Called the emergency maintenance number and was told nothing he could do until 8 am the next morning. He did arrive on time as scheduled.

Clean but...

Whoever does the cleaning and maintenance of this place does a very good job. The place was clean and smelled fresh. Location: we were only a few minutes from downtown Gatlinburg, so it is a great location with a really nice view from the back windows of the condo General shape: The place definitely needs an update. There is a VCR player! Stains on the bathroom ceiling, some torn screens on the patio. The couch and chair are old and worn out. AND, they should at least provide coffee - ijs

Very dirty :(

First, the appearance of the property was lacking inside and outside. Much needed repairs- one being a cone covering the concrete walk with a hole that you could see the ground beneath underneath. Inside, a very musty smoke smell. Chair felt damp and had tears. After check-in, we found very dirty linens on the beds (blood and other stains) and a dirty commode (poop smeared on outside of the bowl). Owner was prompt to get back with me and refund what I had paid. He could not believe the unit was dirty and did not apologize for the filth and the inconvenience it caused us. We had to find other accommodations at 9 that night.

We enjoyed the condo very much. The location in the snake winding roads was PERFECT! We say bears all hours of the day mostly in the mornings and evenings. Do not leave windows down or cracked on your cars and do not leave food in your cars. Yes, we saw a bear in a car taking out a tomato and a 12 ok of Diet Coke. Tomato was a hit but Diet Coke was not preferred! 😂 We saw Cubs with mommas and Male bears standing tall trying to get into the trash dumpster. Wal-Mart is less than 9 miles away but about a 30 minute drive. Area is beautiful but did not like the hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg. It was busier than Branson, MO. We were in the condo first week of August. Condo was very clean and enjoyable. Washer and dryer was a pleasant perk. No extras in cabinets like spices so take your own or buy. Kitchenette was nice to use and prepare our own meals when tired of eating out all the time. Wasn’t a big deal for us but make sure you are aware there is NO internet. We loved our stay in the mountains and it’s wild life offerings.

Location was good, place is clean. It’s like walking back into 1990 all over again!Everything needs to be updated. Hot tub jets do not work, it was described as a therapy tub..old like everything else and needed repair would be my guess and no one would spend any money to fix it.

Decent for price

Love the area but the unit could use some updates. Its like you went back to 1984. Also pool closes at 5pm on Saturday which is crazy. Also don’t mind taking a shower the water pressure is zero.

OK stay for the price

The property is high up in the mountains of Gatlinburg. You have to take a sometimes vertical drive to get there. It was a little scary, especially bc our vehicle was not a 4x4. At one point, the road was so vertical, our van tires could not get traction and it went backwards a bit until I switched it into manual and was able to get up the hill. The property itself was ok. Outdated furniture throughout. The fireplace was fake; we were unable to light a fire. The beds were uncomfortable, and overall it needed some definite TLC. Absolutely NO INTERNET!!!! However, this is a problem throughout Gatlinburg. No internet anywhere!! The city itself was very dirty and 99% of the people were not wearing face masks nor practicing social distancing.

Beautiful

The condo is on the top of the mountain. The drive up the mountain is an adventure in itself. The road is excellent with many turns. The condo could use updating and a good cleaning but if all you want is a place to sleep it is good.

First family vacation

We had an amazing time and loved the condo. Our kids got to see their first bear up close at the end of the parking lot! (We were in our truck) We will definitely be booking here again!!

Outdated style, outdated washer/dryer, if someone is outside talking you can hear every word, If your just looking for a roof over your head with a kitchen this would be okay. We didn’t partake in amenities could find pool table and people were in pool and hot tub. They do work with iexplorie and they offer discounts to certain local attractions. That was nice. We did take advantage of one of those. Had we stayed longer would have done more. Overall not a bad place just needs a remodel and some sound proofing done.
