In the condo you will find current maps of the area, brochures, history books, coupon books and photo tips to help with your stay. My husband and I are long time residents of Seabrook. I am known for my photography of the area and I have written books on the history of Seabrook and the Clear Lake Area.
Why they chose this property
Quiet wooded area on a side street off NASA Parkway. Across the street from this unit is a park perfect for families and pets with hike and bike trails and splash pad. This is a seaside community with Clear Lake at the end of the street which feeds into Galveston Bay. The neighborhoods are known for the homes of astronauts and million dollar homes on the water.
The area is safe for walking and biking and bird watching. Located on the Texas Gulf Coast Birding Trail. Galveston Bay/Clear Lake is a great recreational area. You can rent boats, kayaks, jet skis or fish from a pier. Armand Bayou Nature Center, Clear Lake Park and Pine Gully Park offer a variety of outdoor nature activities. The NASA Space Center is a 5 minute drive, Kemah Boardwalk is a 5 minute drive and the condo is located half-way between Galveston Island and Houston with a about a 35-40 minute drive each way. There are many things to see and do in this popular vacation area. The condo is located near many waterfront hotspots such as Sams Boat and Cabo, both located on Clear Lake, a short walk from the condo.
