Large master suite with private, electronic keyed entrance through french doors to patio looking out on pool, Jacuzzi and pristine views of majestic mountain sunrises and desert landscapes. Kitchenette with microwave, induction hotplate, small refrigerator, coffeemaker, table and chairs. Large bathroom with shower and separate soaking tub. Sitting area for reading, entertainment center with large screen smart TV and internet access. Shared backyard and patio with tables and BBQ for alfresco dining.

30 minutes from Sky Harbor Airport. 10 minutes to Mayo Clinic, Scottsdale. Convenient place to stay if you are planning to visit some of the major local events: Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Auction, Phoenix Open, Spring Training, Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show....

Backyard amenities shared with owner, including pool with built-in Jacuzzi, pool towels & floats, and patio with BBQ. Other amenities by request (laundry room, iron, blender, toaster). Parking on opposite curb of street in front of house.

Private electronic keyed deadbolt entrance to master suite in separate wing of owners' residence. We are part-time professors who are happy to visit with our guests and recommend our favorite activities. We have two large, friendly indoor dogs, who will happily interact with you if desired.

Beautiful view

Perfect location - warm Hosts- cosy Room with a heck of a beautiful balcony Very close an abundance of golf courses of special note WeKaPo saguaro course. Thank you Stephen and family to the introduction to the beautiful Sonoran desert!

My husband and I were in Phoenix for medical reasons. Steve and Roxann were the most wonderful hosts. They made us feel very welcome. She even went as far as to give me fresh, grapefruit, fresh lemons. She gave me a ride to the hospital they just went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. It was almost like being family. They didn’t intrude. The bed was so comfortable. I made quick friends with their fur babies. We will definitely stay there again!

Excellent hospitality

Stephen was a wonderful host. The master suite was beautiful, clean, easy to get to and had amazing views. We even got to meet his 2 friendly dogs and cat, which was a nice treat for us. The room is stocked with a coffee maker, toaster, fridge with goodies for your stay. The back yard had a lovely pool with plenty of chairs and tables to enjoy. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Perfect location "out in the country" (as described by our friends that live in Phoenix/Scottsdale). Great neighborhood, cool downtown with sights, food, and views. Steve and Roxanne very graciously offered us tickets from local library to enter Botanical Gardens-thank you again.

We stayed here for Spring Training. Steve and his wife were amazing! The property was clean and private. They were very friendly with our daughter and even stopped by the library and checked out books for her to enjoy while we vacationed. They also had very good recommendations for food and other activities. Highly recommend them and their property.

My party of 3 had a great stay at Steve’s house! He was very accommodating and helpful. The suite was lovely, and the pool/patio area was great as well. His dogs were a wonderful bonus too!

Cozy

Our hosts made every effort to provide for anything we might need. The space was very private & comfortable. The pool area was very nice, but you just have to like dogs. We have chosen in the past to stay in condos, houses or full apartments. This was our first time staying in a true en-suite bed/bathroom. It did have it's own separate entrance, but the space was a little crowded, making it challenging to move in with our own stuff,

Relaxing Escape from the City

With a very busy schedule during the week, it was refreshing to come back to this location each night and be able to take a dip in the pool before bed. Fountain Hills very much has a feel of being away from the hustle and bustle of the city and a little bit of seclusion. Steve was a very accommodating host in all aspects. You will certainly get more privacy here than in a hotel but realize you are sharing the back area with the owners. I knew this going into it and was completely fine with it; I just mention that in case anyone incorrectly expects to have the whole house to themselves! Regardless, Steve made me feel very much at home and I was very satisfied with the amount of interaction we had along with the right amount of privacy.

Room was nice, great pool area but every morning I’d find many piles of dog poo around the pool. Could not enjoy morning coffee poolside with those piles. Owner has 2 medium size dogs that he lets out in pool area.

Red Mountain vista

Enjoyed our stay! Clean and homelike rooms. Very gracious hosts who add special touches. Snacks, breakfast foods, bottled water, etc. Able to refrigerate foods and prepare meals. Patio yard area the best!! Love that view! Spent time outside reading and relaxing!

Excellent Hosts and Accommodations

If you are looking for a serene, quiet and comfortable get away this is the place for you. Views of the mountains from this location were astounding. Our host Stephen, was always available to provide assistance in any way we requested from helping with cable issues to answering questions concerning area attractions. Accommodations were clean and comfortable. Thank you Stephen and Roxanne for a peaceful and rejuvenating experience.
