The rooms were quite clean and the surrounding area lovely. Check in was smooth and we especially enjoyed the fireplace during the cool nights. Perfect for a small family looking for easy access to Cloudcroft.

Cannot imagine finding any other service that could have made it simpler to reserve a place, checking in was so simple and the place was very clean and just as represented. Will definitely use Vrbo again.

Great location in Cloudcroft. Excellent place for my family to relax and enjoy the cool mountain air. Very clean, especially for a pet friendly place. The host was quick to respond and very kind. We will be back!

This is the best place to stay!I love the sunken living room. We enjoy a fire every night. It really felt like him. The bedroom are nice and beds extremely comfortable. I also love the little bedroom with the day bed. The bathtub is amazing! It very deep and the water get really hot. Everything we needed was provided. The WiFi glitched out so we couldn’t it use that but that was no big deal as I have data. The host is very responsive. This place was very conveniently located to Cloudcroft and all the other places we went. I am so glad we stayed there. I would definitely stay again!Thank you!!

Although we were there elk hunting, we are teachers and needed to do things on our computers. We were not able to do this as the internet did not work. The issue wasn’t not solved while we were there the full 5 nights 6 days. As well as minimal cell service inside the cabin. We had to stand outside on the porch to make calls or go to Allsup’s. However, one good point we had an issue with a missing tie strap and the owner resolved that. We are appreciative of that. I can honestly say I don’t know if we will stay there again or in the village we the other cabins we’ve stayed in out side of the village had no issues with cell service inside the cabin or internet issues.

Our family has been coming to Cloudcroft for over 65 years. Our dad and his friends drove from Dallas in the summer to get out of the heat. Later, we came as a family with grandparents and stayed at The Lodge. We have great memories of golfing, horseback riding and swimming.

Why they chose this property

We have owned this house for several years and decided to turn it into a vacation rental on advice of friends. We have enjoyed the process and our wonderful renters have loved staying in our home.
