Outdoor Living

Spend your days on the private sandy beach, lounging in the sun or shade while the kids play in the shallow water. In the evenings, gather around the lakeside fire pit under the glowing string lights for s’mores and sunsets. The expansive level lawn is perfect for family games — from cornhole to kickball.

Inside the Home

***Main Level***
The entire main level has huge windows overlooking the lake ensuring gorgeous views from every angle. Note that there is no bedroom on the main level so stairs are a must for everyone in your group.
• Kitchen: Fully equipped with dishes, cookware, small appliances (blender, crockpot, griddle, etc.), dishwasher, gas stove, and pantry storage. A second full-size refrigerator is located in the adjacent Game Room.
• Dining: Indoor table for 6 (extra folding chairs available) plus seating for 3 at the island. Outdoor dining for 8 on the patio.
• Living Room: Cozy seating with a large fieldstone gas fireplace. The coffee table is the perfect spot for a family puzzle.
• Laundry Room: Washer, dryer, drying rack and laundry essentials provided.
• Bathroom: Full bath with shower.
• Entry Mudroom: Spacious drop zone to keep gear, coats, and shoes out of the main living areas.
• Game Room (coming Spring 2026): Plans include a ping pong table, arcade games, large TV, and more — perfect for rainy days and winter stays.

***Second Floor***
• Bedroom 1 (Primary Suite): King bed, ensuite bathroom, sitting area with electric fireplace, balcony with lake views, dresser, and TV (BYO streaming subscriptions).
• Bedroom 2: King bed, balcony with lake views, dresser.
• Bedroom 3: Three twin beds, balcony with lake views.
• Bedroom 4: King bed, balcony with forest views, dresser.
• Full Bathroom: Large bathroom with tub/shower combo. An additional full bathroom is attached to Bedroom 1.
• Family Room: Large sectional sofa, 65" TV (BYO streaming subscriptions), board game table, and cabinet full of games and puzzles.

***Third Floor Attic***
A cozy yet spacious kids’ haven with 4 twin beds, toys, books, and a small TV for gaming or streaming (BYO console/subscriptions). Note that the ceiling is under 7 feet and this area is accessed by a small spiral staircase.


Additional Notes
• Primary renter must be 25+
• Dock typically available mid May – mid October. Dock is 48' long and water is about 3.5' deep at the end.
• The Hodstradt Lake boat landing is well maintained and only a 2 min. drive from the house. It's also less than 5 minutes to the Tomahawk Lake (part of the Minocqua Chain) boat landing. Don't have a boat? Ask the Host about rental companies that will deliver boats to the lake.
• Large driveway accommodates vehicles, boats, and trailers (please notify Host if you plan to bring a boat)
• No RVs, campers, or tents
• Hot tub is not available for guest use
• 4WD vehicles required in winter; snow removal provided but guests may need to clear around vehicles/walkways

Payment Terms

We accept most major credit cards through our secure payment processor, Stripe. A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance will be automatically charged 60 days prior to check-in.

X Cancellation Policy

• 60+ days before arrival: Full refund, less credit card processing fee
• 30–59 days before arrival: 50% refund, less credit card processing fee
• Within 30 days of arrival: No refund

Security Deposit

A $500 security deposit hold will be placed on your credit card two (2) days before check-in, similar to a hotel. The hold is automatically released three (3) days after departure, pending no damages.
