Deer Drink Overlook is a cozy two-bedroom cabin nestled within a 40-acre private retreat, offering a front-row view of a quiet watering hole where deer often stop by. Surrounded by towering trees and the peaceful sounds of nature, this cabin blends rustic charm with modern comforts. Inside, the cabin is warm and inviting with wood accents, a living room centered around a wood-burning fireplace, and a fully equipped kitchen ready for home-cooked meals. Both bedrooms are designed for relaxation, with the upstairs offering a private balcony for quiet mornings with a view. Outside, you can soak in the hot tub, roast marshmallows around the firepit, or enjoy a casual cookout on the deck’s charcoal grill. Whether you’re watching deer wander by or simply savoring the forest views, it’s a space made for slowing down and reconnecting.
If you’re traveling with a larger group, the Community Center is a great option for coming together. Perfect for reunions, retreats, or celebrations, it’s a quiet place to gather, share meals, and make memories. Please note it’s a day-use space only and not available for overnight stays.

★ A NOTE ON YOUR WOODLAND ESCAPE ★ We are thrilled to share our slice of nature with you! Because this home is nestled in the heart of the woods, please keep in mind that you are visiting a thriving ecosystem. While the peace and privacy are unmatched, "vacationing in the woods" comes with a few natural quirks: - Wildlife: It is common to see deer, turkeys, and squirrels. Occasionally, larger neighbors like raccoons may pass through. Please keep all food indoors and dispose of trash in the secured bins provided to avoid uninvited dinner guests. - The "Bug" Factor: We maintain a professional pest control schedule; however, the occasional spider, beetle, ladybug, or wasp may find their way inside—especially during rain or seasonal shifts. These "woodland friends" are simply part of the forest experience. - Spring Pollen Disclaimer: If you are visiting during the spring, please be aware that the forest is in full bloom! A fine dusting of yellow pollen on outdoor furniture and decks is common during this time. Guests with sensitivities may want to come prepared. - Keeping doors and screens closed will help keep the great outdoors exactly where it belongs—outdoors!
We encourage you to have a great time, but respect the cabin and neighboring cabins. Sounds travel very far in the remote areas of the forest.
