The perfect place for your perfect beach vacation! This Mission Beach charmer is just 3 doors down from Mission Bay and just a minute's walk to the ocean, Belmont Park and the famous Big Dipper Roller Coaster, as well as many restaurants/activities. The location couldn't be more central!
Great for a family of 4 or two couples. The large patio allows for a great place to relax or have a BBQ! And the one-car garage is a commodity in Mission Beach. With hardwood floors, lots of light in the living room, a flat screen TV, fully stocked kitchen, free wi-fi, and all the beach equipment you will need (chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, beach towels), this is a great place to spend your next vacation. Just bring your flip flops and sunscreen!
We have beach cruisers, a 2 person kayak and paddle boards available for a nominal rental fee, ready for your use when you arrive. Each unit has exclusive use of their own side of the patio with patio table and 4 chairs. Black out curtains in the bedroom are a plus for sleeping in or snoozing after a fun day in the sun.
And if you have a baby, we offer free use of our pack and play, umbrella stroller and portable high chair!

Please fold up pull out couch bed, if used.
Please turn off AC, sign out of all streaming channels, lock doors and windows, return remote control to where you found it. Be sure garage door closes behind you.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Guest to complete rental waiver and submit a copy of current driver's license.

The location is great! Walking distance to the marina and beach, the park, coffee, food. Paddleboards at the rental were super convenient we were able to just pick up and go. The rental was clean and the patio was perfect.

We stayed here for our 15th anniversary trip. The house was perfect for a couple and the location was fantastic, it was close enough to walk to the beach or the bay but be out of the way of heavy foot traffic. We enjoyed the front patio every morning and evening, shade and a nice breeze from the bay. The garage was a bit tight even for our smaller suv, but it did fit and we could still access the beach gear that was in there. The fact that there was AC was fantastic, after a day at the beach AC feels great. We were able to walk right over and eat something without driving anywhere, but the grocery was only 2 miles away if you like to cook in house. We will definitely stay here again.

Great Spot!

We really enjoyed our stay! It is walking distance from Belmont Park and the Bay. The park across the street is great for kids and the Italian restaurant across the street is very good. Hosts were very responsive and helpful. We would definitely love to stay there again!

A Pandemic Respite and back in touch with beauty of nature.

An easy relaxing stay, with all the home comforts. The location was marvelous. There was a lot of home comforts with books and games and everything you need in the kitchen including a pod coffee machine! Very well managed property.

My husband, Mark, and I are proud to be the owners of Island Court Cozy Cottage! We purchased this property in June of 2013 and have been enjoying our role as property managers and vacation hosts! We both grew up in San Diego and went to college here so we know the area well! We have 2 kids, ages 25 and 22 now, and have been creating many memories with them in our cottage, when it is not already reserved!

Why they chose this property

We chose this cottage because we love hanging out in Mission Beach! There seems to be something to do for everyone! We looked at properties for a year and half and knew this would be perfect for us the moment we saw it! We loved the front patio, just being able to relax there with a good book or BBQ with friends. We also felt the location was ideal, as it is within walking distance of everything we like to do ~ biking on the boardwalk, taking the kids to the roller coaster, swimming in the ocean or jogging along the bay... We've had a lot of fun remodeling and creating a comfortable, beachy home away from home, always looking for ways to make it even more perfect for our guests!

What makes this property unique

Location, location, location!!! So close to everything! Beach rental shops on the same block (or if you don't want to pay the higher prices, we have 4 beach cruisers, a kayak and 2 paddle boards available to rent for next to nothing!!) We also have baby items for your use, including a pack and play, high chair, and umbrella stroller. Washer and dryer, fully stocked kitchen, garage, wi-fi, videos, AC, boogie boards, umbrellas, beach chairs and beach towels all included. And I am always available if you have any questions or need anything! It is my pleasure taking good care of my guests!!!
