Stone's Throw is an ideal place to come and "Restart and Restore Life!" with your family and friends!

Tucked away on the quiet west end of St. Thomas, overlooking the Caribbean, sits Stone's Throw. Guests are perched on a hillside seemingly close enough to the sea to do just what the villa's name implies. From the sweeping views of the water from the villa's decks and ABSOLUTELY PRIVATE pool where you can lose yourself in the sunshine and fresh breezes, to the close by hiking to secluded beaches, and yet just a few miles from duty free shopping, most popular beaches and dining spots on St. Thomas; this is a wonderful spot to unwind. All this with the luxury of a fully appointed villa.

Stone's Throw affords her guests tastefully appointed bedrooms, most where one awakes to the blue, azure, sea. All bedrooms have walkout decks. The main living space invites all to relax and entertain. Dine outside or in with a full kitchen or explore the varied dining options available on the island.

Guests will find themselves in a secluded island environment with banana, orange, lime, and other fruit trees. They could spend their entire time enjoying quiet days reading poolside, surrounded by palms and tropical flowers. On clear days one can see St. Croix, and the mountains of Puerto Rico. Watch the sun set, framed by the the Spanish Virgins, then stay up to star gaze, wishing upon shooting stars, glimpsing an upside down Big Dipper, and the famous Southern Cross. All of this and access to the famous sites of St. Thomas and the other Virgin Islands.

Come once and enjoy, maybe you will find a spot to return, rejuvenate, and relax for years to come.

This was our first visit to STT, we had a family of 8 traveling with us, this house was perfect, very spacious and clean, the host was excellent, and very helpful and even reached out in advance to give us helpful tips about our journey. The view from the house was just beautiful. The swimming pool was very nice, especially after a day of running around on the island. I highly recommend it specially if you’re traveling with large group. This was definitely a memorable vocation.

Our host provided plenty of helpful information prior to our visit and the house met all our expectations! We are already thinking about booking a return trip for next year. If you’re looking for a quiet location a bit off the grid than this place is for you.

Great place, beautiful views. House had beach chairs, beach towels, some beach accessories and even sun screen. Kitchen was equipped with all cooking necessities including basic spices. Definitely will need to rent a vehicle.

Wonderful Family Vacation

Stone’s Throw was the perfect home for our family vacation. The home was spacious, comfortable, and well maintained. Spectacular views, beautiful pool, and nice amenities. Located on the very private west end of St. Thomas, about 30 minutes from most tourist attractions. Host Doug and manager Rafael were very accommodating. Would definitely stay there again!

Other than distance from town the house and view was amazing, peaceful, very secluded and private, would recommend renting a car, taxis don’t like to go that far but will for a small fortune, so much nature and beauty to take in, excellent for large groups

Perfect Space for Learning!

Our Youth STEM Program spent a week in USVI assisting in coral restoration projects with UVI. Stone's Throw was the best space for learning and relaxing after a long, often challenging day working in the sun and below the sea. Everything was fantastic!

Great hidden getaway

The pictures on the site didn't do the house justice. We loved the setup. There was 9 of us and we had enough room to hit get in each other's nerves. Great pool if you don't want to go to the beach. Beautiful sunsets from either balcony.

Private Estate

This property is all the way at the west end of the island and is very private. We enjoyed the quiet and privacy with the spectacular view of the water. The home is spacious and provided great space for us 5 adults. The trip to town is 20-25 minutes over a couple of mountains. The trip to Red Hook and the beaches on the other side of the island is around 45 minutes as long as the traffic is moving.

9/10 Remote part of the island but amazing views and good privacy. All the porches make outdoor living perfect with plenty of shade. The roads are terrible everywhere on the island so that’s to be expected. The main house was clean and functional, the lower level was a little musty but we didn’t need to use that kitchen. You have to go outside to get to the lower bedrooms/ living area but it’s not a big deal. The bathroom fixtures are a little dated but functional. Beautiful landscaping with lots of wildlife (tortoises, Iguanas, birds, hermit crabs…ect.). Power for AC can be hit and miss but that’s an island issue for the time we were there. We were there at peak time so pricing is going to be higher than normal I suppose. Overall, good place off the beaten path in paradise.

Beautiful and quiet!

Recently stayed here (my second visit) on a combined work/leisure visit. Absolutely loved it. We spent hours relaxing and chatting, watching the unbeatable sunsets, and enjoying the whales swimming by. The amazing view from the porch must be seen to be believed! The caretakes, Nicole and Peter, were absolutely fantastic, helping make sure we had everything we need and patiently answering questions about St. Thomas, the USVI, and life in the islands in general. Highly recommended -- I think next time we'll come back with the kids!

Stone's Throw - Fabulous

Had a wonderful week at Stone's Throw. Photos on line do no justice to this lovely property. Very well furnished. Very generous supply of towels and linens. Pool is beautiful. All outdoor areas have plenty of comfortable furniture. Days on the pool deck and evenings watching the sunsets from the veranda make it difficult to leave for dinner. Large home suitable for a group, but great for just the two of us. Car is a must but privacy makes it worth it. Peter & Nicole (property mangers) are on hand for problems or questions without ever intruding. Really nice people.

2023 Family Getaway

Family get together by the ocean. Always recharges our batteries. The house gave each of us privacy if needed yet the family time together could be spent at any level of this beautiful home. Two very minor issues with the property which Doug remedied in expeditious time. He was gracious and so quick to respond. The location was very private and secluded on this side of the island which we enjoyed. The views were beautiful and we loved watching the sunset from the patio. And being able to sleep with the windows open was icing on the cake. If we have the opportunity to come back we will certainly reach out to Doug.
