We enjoyed a lovely few days at Rousseau's home. It was incredibly clean and comfortable, and Rousseau was a very kind and accommodating host. Highly recommended!

The positives: The location was excellent—quiet and conveniently located near Highway 6. The house was exceptionally clean, spacious, and the kitchen was well equipped. The bathrooms were updated and very nice, and the washer and dryer were easily accessible.The negatives: One bedroom had no working light. None of the beds had top sheets, despite them being shown in the listing photos. The lightweight comforters were the only bedding layer, making the beds less comfortable than expected. --The den was sparsely furnished. While the listing photos accurately reflected the space, there wasn't a coffee table, end table, or any convenient place to set down a drink. --The property listing shows a working bathtub, but the drain wouldn't seal, making it unusable. --The biggest disappointment was the hot tub. We specifically rented this property because it had one. There were no operating instructions, so we tried everything logical—but nothing worked. After we checked out, the owner sent a video showing the jets working, but how they were activated remains a mystery to us. My husband and I are both fairly comfortable troubleshooting things, and we genuinely wanted to use the hot tub—we certainly weren't trying to be difficult. It simply did not work for us during our stay. **The location, cleanliness, and layout were excellent, but several maintenance and comfort issues kept it from delivering the experience we expected.
