Small but quaint. Platypus Den is a tidy, peaceful studio unit attached directly to "Harcourt" a heritage listed home and coach house, circa 1900. Wonderful old garden setting with many significant trees. Guests can enjoy a hobby farm environment with direct private access to over 300m Yarra river frontage.
The Yarra River frontage includes the famous river bend where the river deepens and widens. The resident platypus can often be seen early morning and at dusk. Guests can fish, canoe, picnic or swim at the river bend.
Platypus Den is a open plan studio which has a kitchenette with microwave, toaster, mini fridge, TV and it's own bathroom with shower. The split system heating and cooling offers comfort all year round.
