Glenbrook Cottage is just a few minutes walk from the heart of Warburton. It is close to shops, the river and the Warburton walking/bicycle track. The setting is delightful, surrounded by trees and with a mountain view. It offers charming, country style accommodation and is comfortably furnished, tastefully decorated and fully self-contained. Glenbrook Cottage combines comfort, beauty and convenience to make this a very attractive retreat for couples or families.

The cottage features a, spacious, well appointed kitchen with butler sink and lead-light windows. The lounge room provides comfortable sofas, TV and DVD player, a wood heater and split system heating and cooling. French doors open to a balcony that offers mountain views and the opportunity to feed colorful native birds. The bathroom includes a large, free-standing french tub. Two bedrooms cater for up to six guests with one queen room and a second room with two bunks. There is also a washing machine for guest use. A paved outdoor eating area and large, leafy garden offer a relaxing setting. Leaving the property, the attractions of the town's main street are a quick walk away while the Warburton Rail Trail is directly opposite.

Warburton is located 74 kilometres from Melbourne or just over an hour's drive. Attractions include beautiful mountain scenery, a scenic 18 hole golf course and numerous walks on gentle tracks along the Yarra River or beside the old aqueduct on the slopes of Mount Donna Buang. Warburton is close to the Yarra Valley wineries and has a great selection of restaurants and cafes. Glenbrook Cottage is located to take advantage of all the township has to offer or you may not want to leave this gorgeous, fully self-contained home set amidst mountain views, trees and bird-life.

Please note: there is not a barbecue for guest use, however there are public barbecue's along the Yarra River, which is perfect for dinner by the river.

Such a beautiful weekend away for some much needed R&R from our busy and stressful jobs. The house had everything we needed, the best part was the stunning outlook and the bird feeder. Walking distance to main street cafes and shops as well as the pub! We will be coming back!

Glenbrook Cottage was comfortable and quiet. There was plenty of wood made available to keep the Cottage warm. The kitchen and lounge rooms where spacious and well equipped.

Beautiful house in a fantastic location! The garden, house and views were amazing. Short walk into town. Had everything we could need. Feeding the birds on the porch was a highlight of our trip. We will definitely come back.

Another lovely break in Warburton

This was my second time staying in Glenbrook Cottage win Warburton so I knew what to expect and wasn’t disappointed. Lovely quiet destination, very private and yet only a few minutes walk to town. The cottage is in a beautiful setting and has everything you cold need. Nice to have the wood fire burning for extra winter cosiness.

Wonderful Warburton

We would recommend Glenbrook Cottage to anyone and everyone! Beautiful views of mountain and trees from lots of windows: the feeling that no-one else is within miles! Parrots come to feeding box just outside window. Delightful decor, in a cottage feel. Everything you could possibly want: comfortable beds, extra blankets, huge bath and every utensil in kitchen. Easy, though a bit steep, walk into town. The only issue was a rather dodgy keysafe: after much fiddling we finally opened and closed it, but thought we wouldn't be able to: Good to have Yarra Rentals phone number on hand just in case. Thanks so much to the owners! We would be back in a heartbeat. Jenny and Bev

Clean, comfortable beds, cosy, fantastic location. I had a lovely time with my Mum, the view from the lounge is perfect for relaxing and lovely and sunny in the afternoon. Really close to the shops and cafes, and right on the rail trail as well. Kitchen had everything we needed, and great to have the fireplace as well.

Perfect place for sister getaway

Fantastic cottage in Warburton! nice and central to the walking trails, township and the local pub. Definitely be back for a return visit with those gorgeous views and birdlife(proving some bird seed to attract the birds a great touch) All in all such a delightful stay with a cosy fire lit at evening while watching the sun set.Great amenities in the cottage and was a real plus to have access to the woodpile to be able to light a fire each night for those cold winter evenings.Only feedback we'd provide is it would be useful to have abit of olive oil in the pantry but luckily we had enough in the marinated olives we bought to add to our salad. Well worth staying at Glenbrook.

Cute little cottage

This is such a cute little cottage but having said that, the rooms are such a good size. The location is close to town, so very convienient, however walking in and out, there is a climb back to the house. It is a little difficult when backing vehicle out of driveway, although the road is very quiet so no issues with others. The fire place was calling to be lit and it warmed the house nicely. Communication with booking was easy. There isnt a lot of food choices in town, so consider this when booking. The kitch is well equiped and cooking up a storm would be easy. I would definitely stay at this place again.

Cute property for comfortable stay

We had 2 nights in Warburton. The property is very cute and reasonably cosy. It was cold inside though. The only heating was a wood heater with firewood etc. nearby or a column heater on wheels. I was also pleased with an electric blanket. The thing that did surprise me was there was no wifi. It wasn't stated there was, but I'm glad we only had a short stay as a result.I really enjoyed the greenery around the cottage, the views of the hills and the bird feeder - the birds were a joy to watch.I was also very happy that I got a call about the food we'd forgotten in the fridge.

An easy, short walk into the main street or to the river, and at the same time lovely and peaceful. Very comfortable house and well equipped with everything you might need. The views are amazing, even washing the dishes allows a view of the mountains!
