Escape to our cozy guest suite — one of two homes in a duplex — your private retreat nestled between the redwood forest and the Pacific Ocean.
Step into a bright living area where you can unwind on the comfortable couch after a day of exploring. Enjoy a movie on the smart TV or get lost in one of the books provided. The entire suite is kept warm with radiant heating. Original artworks created by your host add personal charm throughout the space.
The fully equipped kitchen is ready for your culinary creations, complete with well-stocked cabinets of dishes, glassware, and cookware. In the serene bedroom, a comfortable queen bed with fresh cotton linens, supportive Sealy pillows and stylish wall sconces awaits to give you a restful night’s sleep.
Step outside to your own fully fenced, private backyard. Enjoy your morning coffee at the patio table under the tree, or relax in the lounge chairs with a glass of wine in the evening. For your convenience, the suite also includes a full bathroom with a bathtub, multi-setting shower, bath essentials and in-unit laundry room.

Very cozy and clean one bedroom unit. It had shampoo, condition and liquid soap in the bathroom. All kitchen essentials though I didn’t use them. I had meals with family locally. The unit had a washer & dryer and laundry detergent. It had a very nice TV and cozy living room. The bed was very comfortable. That was a big plus in my book.

When renting a room for two days, it is expected that the toilet paper rolls should be more than 1 roll. !!! More than 1 paper towel roll and more than 1 box of Kleenex in the bedroom only. Oh yeah, absolutely no heat. The heater was set at 68 and could NOT be changed.,It was cold inside and out. The hot water took over 15 minutes to get hot which made hot showers impossible. We had such an awful time there. We left word for the owners and never received a call back. WOULD not recommend.

We’re sorry to hear that Ray and Barbara were unhappy with their stay. We do want to clarify a few points for future guests reading this review. Two rolls of toilet paper were provided for this two-night stay. Paper towel and Kleenex were also provided. We were not notified through Vrbo or by text during the stay about any issue with the heat (in August) or hot water. Had we known, we would have been happy to come over and assist immediately. We are very responsive to our guests and want the opportunity to resolve any issue while they are still at the property. We take guest comfort seriously and always encourage guests to message us through Vrbo if they need anything during their stay so we can help right away.

Home was incredibly convenient to get on and off the freeway and it was so close to the airport. It could not have been more convenient for easy stop and go on our way from the redwoods to eureka. Unfortunately the home itself had quite an odor. The first couple days we had to spray a ton of air freshener and there was still a potent scent that held on. I would imagine this could be remedied but it was quite pungent. Neighbors were audible. Shared wall was attempted to sound proof but the noise still got through. Hosts were friendly and welcoming. Maps and tour information provided.

When I’m not painting, I love traveling with my family, exploring farmers markets, cooking, reading (especially poetry), and gathering inspiration that finds its way into my art and home. Hosting allows me to share that same sense of comfort and creativity with my guests.
