Beautiful, panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and Grandfather Mountain from this newly constructed, 3,000 square foot cabin. The New River and historical Todd are just two miles away for biking, rafting, and canoeing.

Main floor: Huge deck and screen-porch to enjoy the seasons. Master bedroom with Queen-size bed. Oversized master bath with Jacuzzi tub and walk-in shower. Huge living room with 22 foot tall pine vaulted ceiling and hard wood floors with gas fireplace. Fully-equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, solid surface countertops and hard wood floors. Powder room and laundry also on main floor.

Upstairs: Second Master bedroom with a Queen-size bed and a private deck (Awesome Views). Full bathroom off of bedroom. Gorgeous loft with hardwood floors and ceiling and full-size sleeper futon.

Full daylight basement: Bedroom with queen bed and twin-size bunkbeds, and patio. Full bath. Family room with large sectional Queen sleeper sofa and patio. Two-way gas fireplace and large game room for playing pool, air hockey, ping pong or board games or put down a full-size air mattress for extra sleeping.

All the amenities of home plus gorgeous views and relaxation!

Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Launder your sheets/towels. Last load may be left in dryer. No need to put on bed or fold. Just lay out on bed.
Take trash to nearby trash/recycling center.
Put away dishes. If unable to complete any of the above, please let us know so we can make arrangements w/cleaners
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Bookings subject to approval to insure housekeeping is available and time allotted is sufficient.
Guests must bag and remove trash to local (free) trash center. Trash left behind will be charged $5 per bag.

The photos don’t do justice…. It is so beautiful! This cabin was spotless, smelled fresh and clean, and is well appointed. It rained while we were there so the screened porch was perfect. Convenient to whatever you need/want to do. Can’t wait to come back!

Unwind with a fantastic view

Wonderful time chilling at this cabin. Great location between West Jefferson and Boone staying away from the hustle and bustle of the city but close enough to enjoy a night out! Owners are very responsive.

Beautiful views!

We spent a white Christmas here, and it was a nice surprise to have it decorated! Being from Florida, the snow/ice was a little tricky to navigate upon arrival, but the views made it worth it!

Family went to graduation at ASU, and also Mother’s Day. This house was as breathtaking as the views. They had everything you could need, very comfortable and warm! We would love to go back and just relax!!!

Perfect family vacation spot!

We said over and over that this was just the perfect mountain vacation place. The view was spectacular! The 3 bedrooms were on three separate floors which gave more privacy to all. The basement was our teenage and young adult children’s dream basement with so much to do. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend a family mountain vacation. Hosts were quick to respond and so helpful with any questions we had. Thank you!

Three sisters

The property and location were awesome. So serene and private. We plan to possibly revisit in the future. The only thing we found inadequate were: we had to scrounge for three washcloths and there were no dish wash cloths. Thanks for sharing your awesome property

Exceeded expectations!

First off, the view was everything we had hoped it would be. Every time I am around the area I want to go go go…this time I MADE time to stay put and truly soak in the view. The house was beautiful and very clean, the beds were comfy, and the kids (ages 9, 9, 6, and 4) were beyond entertained between the air hockey and the large porch/swing. The only issue we had was kids fighting over the top bunk 😉 The location was wonderful, the roads were fully paved all the way to the house. Quiet neighborhood setting. Would absolutely recommend and would stay here again!

Great property! The view is amazing. Host was very prompt in returning messages. The driveway is quite steep but not a problem in good weather, just know that only 2 cars would be able to park there. All linens and towels are provided but you have to launder them yourselves after your stay.

Spectacular Views

The views cannot be beat. You can see grandfather mountain 20 miles away. The common areas are spacious and there is plenty of room to eat inside and out. Plenty of seating all about. Only negative is the steep driveway, but it's worth it

I grew up here in Winston-Salem, NC and always loved the North Carolina mountains. My wife is from Phoenix, AZ and fell in love with the mountain area as well. I have a decking business in the Winston area and we built this cabin so we could get away to the mountains as often as possible with our 2 children and (quite often) their friends.

Why they chose this property

We built this cabin ourselves back in 2004 after we found this lot which has an absolutely phenomenal view! We knew immediately that we wanted to buy this lot and build a house where we could enjoy the view in a wonderful, cozy atmosphere.

What makes this property unique

"Getting away from it all" is the only way to describe the feeling we get up here. It is quiet and tranquil and you can feel the worries of the world ebbing away from you. Yet it is still close to many outdoor activities -- including golf, hiking, and the New River -- as well as restaurants and shopping, for when you feel a little more energetic.
