Highly recommend it, and it's absolutely deserving of five stars!
The Pond House worked out perfect for our needs, Dad and 2 boys on a play it by ear getaway. We explored the Okeefenokee for a couple days and made the short drive over to Jekyll Island and surrounding areas with the rest of our time. Very peaceful base camp for our adventures!
The property itself is amazing. The host was extremely helpful in communicated. Well. It did rain prior to us getting there. Which flooded out the road that actually goes to the property. But there was an alternative route. We were able to take per the host the lake is beautiful. We saw some ducks, they have some horses on the property. The fire pit was set up very nicely. The only cons I have about it. What was the shower head only had one setting on it Which was the jet spray also, the bathroom does not have a door on it. And it is inside the bedroom, so if it's two separate adults or even two couples, you would have to leave the bedroom for the other people to use the restroom or showerAlso beware of ants lots and lots of ants in your car i do not have anything in my car such as food or drinks and it is covered with ants Inside and out Other than that, it was absolutely amazing. And we would stay here again
