6/10 Okay

One of my daughters lives in Brandon, MS, so we the rest of the family went to visit after she had a baby. There were 5 adults - two married couples, and one single - and two children under the age of 5. I chose this property because of the number of bedrooms (4) and the types of beds in each room. The posting showed queen, queen, double, and two twins. The beds were actually a queen, double, trundle bed (one side higher, than the other), and two twins. Not exactly the ideal situation. The host did say she would refund our money if we wanted to stay elsewhere, but at 6:30pm on Friday night, it's not exactly easy to find other accommodations on the spur of the moment. The house is in a good area of town, though the neighborhood is not the nicest. She had plenty of dishes and cookware, but not enough silverware for 8 people that the house is supposed to accommodate. This sound picky, but what silverware she did have, is cutesy and not practical. Handles were small and the spoons were unusable. Only two of the eyes on the stove worked. No coffeemaker. There were plenty of towels, and the showers were sufficient. Plenty of TV's.The best part of the house was the back porch. The host did respond quickly to my messages.
