Welcome to Cozy Colorado, your mountain retreat in the heart of Breckenridge. Nestled at the base of Peak 9, this two-bedroom, two-bath condo blends modern comforts with alpine charm—just a 5-minute stroll to the ski lifts and a 2-minute walk to historic Main Street. With radiant floor heat, unlimited hot water, and a warm, inviting style, Cozy Colorado is designed for groups and families who want comfort, convenience, and memories that last a lifetime.
The Space
Built in 2001—much newer than most Brecken ridge condos in the area—Cozy Colorado offers fresh design and modern upgrades without sacrificing mountain character. The living area flows into a full kitchen with everything you need for family meals, a dining table that seats 6, plus a breakfast bar for 3. The warmth of radiant floor heating ensures every corner stays comfortable, even in the middle of winter.
> Master Suite: King bed plus a remodeled en-suite bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower and comfort-height toilet.
> Guest Room: Two twin beds with a huge closet for hanging all those ski clothes to keep things neat and tidy.
> Unlimited Hot Water: Perfect for groups—no waiting for showers after a day on the slopes.
>Free Parking: A heated parking lot means you are not tromping on ice in ski boots, and steps away from the front door.
Ambiance & Extras
From your window, take in the views of the Tenmile Range, golden aspens in fall, and snow-covered peaks in winter. After adventure-filled days, gather with family around the dining table, unwind with a glass of wine, or soak under the stars in the steaming community hot tub.
What sets Cozy Colorado apart is not just the home itself, but the host. A Colorado native and 5-star Premier Host. Your Mountain Guide is passionate about helping guests uncover Breckenridge’s hidden gems—whether it’s recommending ski runs based on adventure level, finding the powder stashes on a BIG POW day, local dining, or secret summer hikes that create core memories for your trip.

About the host
Hosted by Kirk H

As a Colorado native who grew up skiing, climbing, hiking, and exploring nearly every corner of this state—and many others around the globe—I’ve spent a lifetime chasing adventure and appreciating comfort. From ski runs in the Alps to high-end hotels in Dubai, I’ve seen what true hospitality looks like, and I bring that mindset to every detail of your stay.
Before entering the business world, I worked as a chef, bartender, and waiter, which taught me firsthand how to create exceptional guest experiences. I host the way I like to be hosted—with intention, quality, and no cut corners. The Summit Chalet is a reflection of that. I’m proud to share my home base with fellow travelers and help guide your family to unforgettable memories in Breckenridge and beyond.

Why they chose this property
Location is everything. I chose this particular spot because it offers the best of both worlds—just a short walk to the Quicksilver lift and Main Street, yet far enough from the core to avoid the late-night crowd noise. It’s tucked on the south edge of town, which means quieter nights, quicker trail access, and the rare luxury of not needing a car. I can step into adventure from my front door. It reminds me of ski towns in Europe—walkable, beautiful, and built for freedom.
What makes this property unique
Freedom and flexibility. That’s what sets The Summit Chalet apart. With lifts, town, and trails just steps away, there’s no need for rigid group schedules or meet-up points. You can head out early to catch the fresh powder while others sleep in, join each other when it fits, or peel off at your own pace. Whether you're out chasing snow or curled up in the hot tub or electric “First Class” recliners with a glass of wine, everyone gets to do their vacation their way.
Plus, It's not just about where you stay—it's about how you feel while you're here. Relaxed, recharged, and truly taken care of.
