Unfortunately, I cannot comment on the condition of the house because we never got the opportunity to see it.We booked this property for one night while traveling to Joshua Tree for my son’s engagement. We were driving over three hours and needed clear check-in instructions. Despite numerous attempts to contact the host, Alena never responded. I sent multiple emails through VRBO, attempted to text her (messages were blocked), and left a voicemail that was never returned.After spending most of Christmas Day on the phone with VRBO,who also tried unsuccessfully to reach the host, we were forced to find a different property at the last minute. This caused unnecessary stress during an important family event and holiday.Reliable communication is essential when booking a short stay, especially when traveling long distances. Sadly, that was completely absent here.
