About this property
Entire 3br Beautiful Edwardian Home
Classic San Francisco Edwardian house with newly-renovated kitchen, dining room, and bathroom. Two floors, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room, dining room, full kitchen. Cable TV, wifi. We are located in the safe, convenient, family-friendly Inner Richmond neighborhood near Golden Gate Park.
Airbnb Superhost for over 7 years, with over 200 reviews!
This is our house and we are renting it out when we are traveling, so we will have limited-to-no in-person interaction with our guests during their stay, but are always available via phone and email before and during your stay.
THE NEIGHBORHOOD
The Inner Richmond is one of the most popular, convenient neighborhoods in San Francisco:
- Three blocks from Golden Gate Park, specifically near Conservatory of Flowers, The California Academy of Sciences, De Young Museum, Japanese Gardens, and Botanical Gardens.
- Three blocks from Clement Street, including its fabulous restaurants (such as Burma Superstar, B Star, Richmond Republic, Giorgio's Pizza, Toy Boat Dessert), many coffee shops, See's Candies, bakeries, Green Apple Bookstore (regularly voted best used bookstore in SF), spas, and more.
- The Inner Richmond is home to the "other" or "real" Chinatown: less touristy than downtown, amazing food (restaurants and Asian supermarkets), fun shops.
- Six blocks from USF's huge and beautiful Koret Health and Recreation Center, for all your exercise needs.
- Five blocks from the Presidio, where you can experience breath-taking views, hikes, golf, and, of course, the Golden Gate Bridge.
- Convenient grocery shopping, including Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, Safeway, fresh fruit markets, and many Asian supermarkets.
- In addition to nearby Golden Gate Park and Presidio, Rossi park is around the corner from us; they have a great playground, basketball court, tennis court, baseball fields, and huge open area. You are welcome to borrow our gear including basketballs, soccer balls, tennis rackets, baseball gloves / balls / bats, frisbee, and more.
- Great location for running and biking (bike rental shop nearby; secure bike storage is available in our garage).
You will have access to our whole house as we will be away on vacation when you are staying here (note: you will not have access to the private in-law unit in the basement).
Our beautiful, 1600 sq ft, 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, Edwardian home in the family-friendly Inner Richmond is available when we are traveling.
The main floor includes a living room and a newly-renovated (in 2021) open kitchen and dining room area, and newly-renovated full bathroom. It is a modern, open renovation, but still with original Edwardian-home charm and styling including dining room "hutch", intricate wood floor designs, wainscoting, etc. The kitchen is bright and large with modern appliances and dishwasher. Living room includes flat screen tv with DVD, DVR capabilities. Free "gigabit" high-speed wifi. There is a small office next to the kitchen, with a modern, ergonomic setup, including an electric powered sit-stand desk.
The top floor has three bedrooms, each of which can fit 2 adults each:
*Bedroom 1 - The Master Bedroom: bedroom with a California King.
*Bedroom 2 - Olivia's bedroom with a twin size bed. It is a trundle bed and can be pulled out to have two side-by-side twins, so, essentially, it can turn into a king size bed.
*Bedroom 3 - Maxwell's bedroom. Two twin size beds. Actually, one of the twins is one mattress on top of another, so you can easily make it three twin size beds. Alternately, we have a high quality queen-size (high-in-height) Aerobed that can fit a couple that we can put in this room, if you prefer this. Lots of options!
So seven can sleep comfortably upstairs. If need be, we can also fit one more on the couch in the living room.
There is another full bathroom on the top floor.
Large, fenced-in, quiet backyard. Enjoy your morning coffee outdoors or soak in the delightful mid-day sun on the patio.
Basement includes garage with laundry facilities, lots of board games (for all ages), children's books and toys.
(Basement also includes separate 1-bedroom 1-bathroom apartment that we rent out regularly, if that is more to your liking.)

ABOUT US
We are a married couple, with two children. We have traveled the world and were particularly grateful for the generosity of many hosts who opened up their homes to us, often demonstrating their desire for us to love and enjoy their city and country. Our hopes, at that time, was that one day, we would own our own home, and meet and host visitors from all over.
In 2011 we moved from NYC to San Francisco. We bought our dream home in September, 2012. We enjoy playing host and welcoming visitors into our home and suggesting great places to visit while staying in the San Francisco area.
We are in compliance with the 2014 San Francisco home sharing legislation and are legally registered with the city of San Francisco.
Our location is easily accessible to public transportation:
- One express bus (1 block away) will take you downtown to the Ferry Building, where you can enjoy gourmet restaurants and bountiful farmer's markets 3 times per week.
- Just 1 block walk in the other direction and another bus line will take you directly to all the shops of Union Square if you travel east, or to Ocean beach if you travel west.
- We have easy, direct bus access to popular neighborhoods, such as The Castro, Dolores Park, The Mission, The Sunset, The Fillmore, Japantown, The Haight, NOPA, Cole Valley, Hayes Valley, and of course, downtown.
- Walking distance to USF and short commute to UCSF
