Why Jacqueline Doyle chose Cape Woolamai

Amazing house - even better than pictures! Very close to spectacular beach which we had mostly to ourselves mid week in winter. Communication with Jacqueline was fantastic and we felt genuinely welcome in her home. Many thanks, can't wait to stay again.
It was such a pleasure to host you at Cape Cabin Liz!
We are absolutely thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your stay so much and that you got to experience our beach in all its wild + wintery (and mid week secluded) glory. Thank you for your kind words and for taking such care to leave the property so lovely and clean. I completely agree that photos are not really capable of capturing the tactile, magical nature of the space and all its tiny details. Please come back anytime... we would love to host you again and have so many more adventures and recommendations up our sleeves as the weather gets a little warmer and your little man a bit bigger...
Relaxing Family Weekend
Our Cape Cabin experience was everything we envisaged. The Cape Cabin immediate outside environment was private, treed and perfectly zoned for recreational activities, entertaining and parking. Within close proximity to the coast, walks, bike riding and visiting a cafe for a coffee was easily accessible and enjoyed by our family of eight adults.
Inside Cape Cabin is truly captivating, with beautifully appointed living and bedroom spaces, which exude delightful charm with tasteful soft furnishings, aromatic products, linen of natural fibres. We couldn't have been more impressed. Additionally delighted with the complimentary culinary indulgences on arrival!
Ideal setting to come together as a family, enjoy each other's company, create and share dining in the excellently fitted out kitchen space and relax by the fire. Comfortable and spacious for all.
The intentions of Jacqueline and her team to provide a five star experience was most evident, from the time of booking to departure, no request too small and attention to detail was second to none.
Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay. We have shared our experience with friends and will definitely recommend your property to others, we would love to return.
It was an absolute pleasure to host your family in celebration of your husband’s birthday Donna. I know how difficult it can be to get adult children together and I am delighted that we were able to accommodate the occasion and hopefully contritube to it being as extra special as possible for all of you.
Please keep in touch - we would love to stay connected with you via our social media channels @capecabin to keep you up to date with any new additions to the space and promotional campaigns and special offers that we run from time to time.
We can’t wait to host you again and are chuffed to hear that you have recommended our space so highly to others... :)

A very special place for a family break
We booked into Cape Cabin for a special family anniversary and it was better than we could have hoped. Our two boys are 5 and 8, so finding somewhere to suit all of us was key for four days away. The little details and the way the house is presented is honestly perfect and really thoughtful. It's a kids paradise, and Jacqueline has filled it with incredible games, toys, hundreds of books and ideas for play, both inside and out.
We loved the environmentally friendly, luxurious natural bath products, the well-equipped kitchen (we ended up mostly cooking in as it was so nice to be there we didn't want to go out to eat), the SONOS sound system, the VERY comfortable beds, just everything really.
The upstairs room was everybody's favourite. We also loved how close it was to the beach - both for hearing the ocean and feeling the sea breeze around home, and also for walking easily down the pathway and steps to the beach and the rock pools every day. An echidna snuffled around in front of us one evening and the kids loved it.
When we did venture out (to the Penguin Parade, an 8km loop of the Cape Woolamai walk, feeding the pelicans and some lovely coffees) we really appreciated having such a special place to come back to. We will be back, and recommend wholeheartedly if you want a truly special place to stay on Phillip Island. Thank you Jacqueline and family. x
Thank you for taking the time to write such a beautiful and detailed review of your experience at Cape Cabin Gemma. It was such a privilege to host your family in celebration of this special family milestone and we are so pleased that you were able to enjoy so many aspects of our space and the local area.
We hope that you will keep in touch and come back to visit us again soon! x
