The Home Collection: Historic 1BR Residence · King Suite & Parking · Near Uptown
Summary:
Experience the quiet, established charm of Elizabeth, where a canopy of century-old willow oaks and historic architecture provide a sophisticated backdrop for your stay. This entire residence is yours exclusively, offering a private and predictable environment with no shared indoor spaces. Morning routines often begin with a short, level stroll to nearby Independence Park or a quiet coffee at a local café before heading into the city via the convenient streetcar. With two assigned parking spaces and a step-free entry into the unit, the logistics of your trip remain straightforward and secure from the moment you arrive. It is a reliable home base that is perfect for families or groups who value a calm, residential pace within minutes of Charlotte’s major medical centers and downtown attractions.
The Space:
You enter an entirely private condo where the layout is centered on a sun-filled living area that feels both open and distinct from the sleeping quarters. The main room functions as a versatile hub, allowing you to transition naturally from morning coffee on the sofa to a productive afternoon at the dedicated workdesk. Large windows offer an elevated view of the historic Elizabeth canopy, creating a quiet, residential atmosphere that makes it easy to settle into a normal routine. While the kitchen and dining spaces are arranged for easy meal preparation, the home’s intuitive flow ensures that the workspace remains a calm corner separate from where you relax. It is a well-proportioned, professional environment that provides a steady home base with the added convenience of assigned parking and a shared green space just downstairs for a breath of fresh air.

Lovely and conveniently located neighborhood. The apartment is cute, clean, and the mattress was so comfortable. It is a historic building so there are typical architectural signs of aging but nothing that felt in bad repair.

I enjoyed having my labradoodle with me in this cozy apartment. It was clean and well stocked with wine, orange juice and some snacks. Walking in the neighborhood was both safe and enjoyable. Off street parking was appreciated.

We stopped at this wonderfully-decorated and spotlessly-clean apartment for a few days to celebrate our anniversary. Couldn't have picked a better spot to explore Charlotte, or more thoughtful and welcoming hosts to make our stay so enjoyable and comfortable despite the ongoing pandemic. We loved the friendly, walkable neighborhood and enjoyed nearby eateries (w/vegetarian options), breweries, and greenways either a short walk away or a quick trip in the car. Our pup appreciated the dog-friendly neighborhood with several restaurants offering outdoor patios, plus the nice little park a couple of blocks away. Excellent all-around!! We would not hesitate to stay at this or another of the host's properties in the future.
