Loved the location! Close to shops/restaurants in Park Circle and the neighborhood was quiet. The only negative I have is that it is pretty bare bones as far as amenities go, especially in the kitchen. No condiments, sugar, etc. The furniture in the backyard could also use an upgrade. Easy commute into downtown Charleston! Over all the stay was good.

Serene Cottage N. Charleston

Overall good stay. Great kitchen. Clean bathroom. Front door has issues and lets bugs in. No TV in living room and no dresser in bedroom. This would make long stays difficult.

Beautiful house

We've traveled a dozen time with vrbo, this is the second one managed by vacasa and not very impressed. Cleaning was not the best, dust bunnies everywhere, a dirty hand towel, ants in the kitchen and the back porch cushions were beyond moldy and gross. Informed vacasa but no response. They do have a mirror in one bedroom and a kitchen table since the pictures though. No main tv but each bedroom has one. Does have the bare necessities to stay and make simple meals. The neighborhood is very quiet and it's within walking distance to park circle. I don't love leaving a bad review as the house is wonderful and beautiful; the property owner is not vacasa and is only managed by them. Unfortunately vacasa is not representing this as well as they could.

Simply Lovely!

This was a girlfriend trip, and the property met out needs. It was very clean. The furniture was comfortable. Kitchen was well supplied. Location is within 30 minutes of IOP, Folly Beach, Charleston, and many other nearby tourist attractions. There also is a great park just a five minute drive away for families with children. The property also has a cute backyard. We didn't have time to use it but it would be lovely to relax and catch up in the yard after a long day. Ways to improve--in the bedroom with the twin beds, there ONLY was a fitted bedsheet on the beds, no flat bedsheets. As such, one had to cover up with the duvet. That was uncomfortable as I was not certain if it was cleaned prior to our stay. The duvet looked clean but flat bedsheets are a must! There were both fitted and flat bedsheets in the main bedroom, however. Also, with the many nearby beaches, the property should have a couple of beach chairs or toys. Given the cleanliness of the property, they could be stored in the outdoor shed or in the yard. Finally, ant traps. We purchased honey and store bought bakery. We had not opened either item but the ants could sense them and made their presence known on the kitchen counter the next morning. Outside of these very minor issues, it is a simply lovely property and I look forward to returning with my husband and son. We have to check out that park!
