The location of this property is great. Very close beach access and biking trails. Easy walk to the Nest Markwt and Night Heron Park.The house however is a bit dated and needs updated. There was a moisture / humidity issue in the house. Furniture seemed to be damp the entire time we were there. New kitchen baking pans and utensils need to be added. There was no spatula to cook with amd the baking pans were very rusty, which made it hard ro cook and bake muffins.With a few updates and some maintenance this property would be great. The price was high for what it was. We were dissappointed with that once we got there and saw what we were dealing with. Cant beat the location though.

Cute little cottage in the heart of beautiful Kiawah. It was well equipped and comfortable. Short walk to the beach. A few things are showing their age but nothing a few repairs or updates couldn’t fix. Would stay here again.

The house was a great value for what it is —comfortable, with a bit of wear and tear. A few of the dishes weren’t clean and it seemed like the dishwasher hadn’t been run before our arrival. That said, we loved the location and the amount of space. It was very quiet, and the kids especially enjoyed the games and puzzles provided. A bike rack would have been a great addition, but overall it was a nice stay in a great spot.

The proximity to the beach was excellent. We understand the deck/table was not complete at the time of our reservation. A table and chairs on the deck would have been optimal. The kitchen was very clean and new, I apprecaited that! The dining room table needs to be refinished/replaced - it was difficult to clean and enjoy a meal there. Baths were great. Several power outlets throughout the house would not hold an electrical plug, worn out??Biggest neg. the master bedroom mattress is completely past its prime - difficult to sleep on. We would return with the hope that some upgrades were made. Thank you

Cute Beach Cottage so Close to The Beach

Our stay was wonderful! The house was clean and perfect for our group of 6 for a girls trip. It had everything we needed — plenty of towels and blankets to stay cosy. It seemed a little bigger in person than reviews (which we loved!) a great space for a beach cottage! Biggest plus was being SO CLOSE to the beach— an easy walk with a great boardwalk so close by. We would definitely stay again! Hoping to bring my family soon.
