I sincerely apologize to Jenna and her family for this experience. The error was entirely on my end, and I take full responsibility. This booking occurred during my initial setup on VRBO, and the listing was unintentionally made active before my availability calendar was fully finalized.
I understand how disappointing and disruptive this was for them, especially on the day of arrival. I did attempt to help find an alternative, but unfortunately nothing suitable was available at that time.
Since then, I have corrected my listing and internal processes to ensure this does not happen again. I appreciate Jenna and her family’s understanding and regret that I was unable to host them as planned. Liz
