Awesome place. We had not stayed in the area before but it is amazing with all of the sierras and recreational activities. The house is perfectly located, had all amenities as advertised, very clean and very cool place to stay
The views were outstanding!!! Seeing the sunrise and the sunset each morning was great. The house was clean, and the fireplace and record player were fun. Very peaceful area and we enjoyed walking the property and sitting outside. Really nice table for an outside dinner.
Beautiful location with mountains on each side. Property had a lot of cool rocks to climb on and explore. House had everything imaginable that you might need. One of the best VRBO homes I have ever stayed at. Met our needs in every way.
We love everything about this place. The home, how it is furnished, the full full kitchen, the setting, the huge rocks of the Alabama Hills right outside. There is just so much more than we expected. We have been back three times and will return next year.
Extremely well stocked home close to Whitney Portal and other high Sierra locations. Property is an amazing desert landscape. Owners were very helpful and responded immediately to any questions. Perfect Basecamp for a Mt Whitney climb!!
We loved this property in the Alabama Hills! The views are gorgeous! We enjoyed staying in as well as taking day trips to Death Valley and off-roading. My in-laws already planning future trips to this vacation rental and I am sure we will be back!

This was an awesome spot for a family location. The property and hose were wonderful. This location is a great jumping off point for Death Valley National Park, Manzanar, Mt. Whitney, Mono Lake and everything that the Eastern Slope of the Sierra has to offer.
we. had a lovely time at this home. the setup worked out well for 2 singles and a couple. having our own spaces but a great kitchen dining with small family space to gather worked well. kitchen was well appointed. the views and location were amazing.
Our family of 8 enjoyed our stay here. The views around the property were beautiful. The location was great. 6 members of our family hiked to the top of Mt. Whitney and were grateful to have a comfortable place to come back to after 16 hours on the trail. The house had all the necessary amenities and the kitchen was well equipped. Would stay here again!
This is a really special place to stay in the Eastern Sierras! My family and my partner's family stayed here last week, and we had such a lovely time together. The location is incredible, the cabin is very comfortable, and the abundance of California King quail made excellent neighbors for our weekend in the Alabama Hills ~ we loved it!
Absolutely love this magical place. This is our third year in a row that we have vacationed at Reo’s Ranch. Love that it is pet friendly. The house is always very clean and the kitchen has everything you need to prepare your meals. My favorite spot is to sit on the porch watching the birds and squirrels in the bird feeder and gazing at the stunning Inyo Mountains. The hosts Mike and Diana are the best! Truly couldn’t ask for better hosts. Looking forward to next year’s stay.
Another great stay! The house is tucked into the trees and rocks of the Alabama Hills. Making for the perfect spot when the full moon comes up.From the kitchen you can do dishes with a view of Mt Whitney. The house is set up with everything you need. The location is close to great hikes yet feels remote and gives you a relaxed atmosphere.Overall, the house is a very enjoyable and comfortable place to stay.

Why they chose this property
My family owned a neighboring piece of property when this house came to the market. We loved this property as soon as we walked on it, the views alone sold us and the house was just an added bonus.
What makes this property unique
We were married here in 1999 marked by a bench that overlooks the Owens Valley. Our son loves the wide open spaces with rocks to climb and places to explore. We like to camp under the stars while the crickets sing down at Caspers Cove. Its just a fun place to come and chill or use as a base camp for your adventures.
