Centrally located in beautiful Hatteras Village, Slash Creek Condos have it all. Each semi-sound-front condo includes its own boat slip for outboard boats up to 25-feet, so don't forget the fishing poles. The kids will love fishing and crabbing from the Creek's long walkways along the creek. The site is well-landscaped and the community pool is open Memorial Day through Labor Day. With a spacious, upscale kitchen and a living area with resort furnishings, a covered deck, and wetland views, you'll feel right at home. When you enter Hatteras Homerun, you'll find a closet with a stacked washer and dryer near the half bath. The living area also provides access to the deck through the slider. On the deck, you'll enjoy views of Slash Creek with your morning coffee or a glass of evening wine at the pub table with four chairs. Back inside, your guests will enjoy their queen main bedroom with a soaking tub/shower combo and a TV. After a day at the beach, relax in your private main bedroom with a whirlpool tub/shower combo. Have a homerun vacation at Hatteras Homerun!

Friends vacation

My husband and I and our very best friends always take a trip together to somewhere different. This year we chose OBX. I was in charge of finding us a house to stay in and came upon Home Run and I am so glad I did. It was perfect for the 4 of us. The beds were soft and the place had everything we needed to make our stay feel like we was at home. The pool was very nice as well. Would definitely recommend staying here to anyone.

I have been working on Ocracoke for over a month now and flew my family in to spend time with them. We stayed at one of these condos and was more then satisfied with the amenities provided. I would definitely stay here again!

I love Splash Creek condos. Hatteras Homerun is cozy and it’s definitely feels like your home away from home. Except for the sofa.

Nice place to stay at the beach.

The home was nicely furnished and well equipped with everything you need to enjoy a week at the beach. The outside deck and dining area were nice to eat on and watch the sunrise and sunset. The couch and beds were comfortable. The elevator made it easy to get in the condo and unload/load your vehicle. The television in the bedrooms with cable were nice to watch before bed. The location of the condo was close to the vehicle ferry to go to Ocracoke for the day.

The condo was clean and decorated beautifully. The kitchen is well stocked and the bed was very comfortable. I’d have given 5 stars if the full size sofa cushions weren’t help up by plywood, which made it very hard and uncomfortable. Other than that this is a great condo and we really enjoyed our vacation!

This stay allowed us to check in on a weekday and stay 8 days which was perfect for our trip this year. The condo was beautiful and allowed us to have a very relaxing stay. The rental process, check in, and check out were very simple. The condo was very clean and had everything you would need to start your stay (dish soap, laundry soap, trash bags, toilet paper, etc.) We have rented for over 10 years on the OBX and although different from the previous rental group, we have been very happy with the rentals we have had through Vacasa.

everything truly was great except for the marshmellow matresses

the views from the condo--wow the location was great. It is a quiet but close to everything. My wife liked the mattresses but I woke up with backaches when I slept on them. How about a firm mattresses in the guestroom for people that can't sleep on marshmellows

Our Condo was ready early and they told us via text. When we got there the code didn’t work and we called and they were able to reset it right away! The unit was clean and a great layout. We loved the balcony. We also loved the pool. It was perfect temp every day. We would definitely come back!

Hatteras Homerun Experience

Tastefully decorated. Beds very comfortable. Especially appreciated the elevator. Made hauling luggage and other items up to our condo much less taxing than traversing stairs. (FYI). Need to install grab bars in the bathtub/showers to avoid accidental falls getting in/out. Also,clean the blades on ceiling fans. They had a lot of accumulated dirt.

No for elderly

No bars in showers and beds are really tall so bring step stool the condo is clean and beautiful but between the beds and showers and toilets do not recommend for the disabled or elderly if your young go for it

Condo was nice but won't use VACASA again

This unit is very nice and well appointed. The day after we arrived, we were notified by text and email that the unit below had reported a water leak. My husband called the "customer service" number provided by Vacasa but they were less than helpful. Thanks to the downstairs neighbor, the owner was notified - NOT BY VACASA- and the leak repaired. Even though threr are 2 Vacasa offices on Hatteras Island, the nonexistent customer support was hundreds of miles away and absolutely. clueless. Use local realtors like Dolphin for rentals on OBX, not Cacasa.

Our local manager assured us that the local team was on-site after the call about the leak and the issue was resolved the same business day.
