With this beach house as your vacation retreat, your stay at the majestic Topsail Island will be as magnificent and satisfying as you had ever hoped.

With the beach as your backyard and plenty of modern luxuries inside the home, you can't go wrong. Spend the morning relaxing on the deck with your morning coffee. After breakfast in the well-appointed kitchen, take to the beach for a full day of fun ocean activities. Return home to gather in the comfy living room for a group movie night. Relax the evening away in the private hot tub. And at night, retire to one of the six uniquely appointed bedrooms. As seen on season 3 of HGTV's Beach Hunters.

Oceanfront with steps to the beach and great views. Plenty of space for our family. Beds were comfortable- which was a huge plus as you never know what you will get. Kitchen was well stocked and ocean front decks were great! We would consider this home again.

Neat Option in Ocean Ridge

We had a good week in this rental. Lots of living space for family members to relax. Roomy bedrooms and bathrooms and a wonderful set of decks! Loved the hot tub on the lower deck. Having it covered allowed us to use it a lot!

The house upon arrival was very nice. The house has a musty smell. Interior of the house needs some updates and repairs. The views are beautiful and the porches are very nice. We enjoyed our stay.

Great place for big families

We had 4 adults and 8 children in the house but still had plenty of room. There are tons of books and games, lots of dishes and appliances to use! The kitchen table is huge and spacious for those family dinners. The location is perfect, with a great view and beach access. The house could definitely use a refresh but overall, it was a great experience!

Winter beach

This home is lovely. We were blessed with fantastic weather and were able to thoroughly enjoy all the amenties the house had to offer. The hot tub was a treat in the colder weather. We used the chairs and sat out in the beach several days. We cooked amazing meals in the kitchen. We had plenty of clean towels and linens. I loved waking up to the sunrise over the water. Amazing views the entire week. The beach was perfect for people who like to collect shells.

Go for the beach but don't expect much from the property

This home provided wonderful access to the beach. That is where the wonderfulness stopped. The properly is outdated, filled with misinformation about the community and rules. The living room ceiling is in disrepair causing concern and it was not very clean. The lack of attention to detail did not match the quality I would expect in comparison to the price I paid to stay here.

Amazing House

Was very concerned seeing the reviews dip down to 1.3 stars, so I expressed my apprehension to prop mgr ahead of my stay. They were very responsive and met all my expectations. The house is high trafficked so expect wear such as nicks on walls and such. Beautiful vantage points of ocean from multiple locations.

Very nice house, unfortunately there is a moldy smell throughout. There is evidence of a green mold (algae?) on front of house windows. Unacceptable.

Nice Fall stay

House was nice. Needs a deep cleaning. Stairwell carpet from entrance desperately needs cleaning. Outside furniture needs cleaning and painting. Banister on 2nd floor deck need cleaning and painting. It had a lot of appliances and kitchen gadgets you don’t usually find in other rentals. Vacasa had it very clean and furnished with fresh linens. They are always top notch in my opinion. No one else I would rather rent from!

Lovely Beach Vacation

This house was in a great location in proximity to the beach. The setup of the house was perfect for our 3 families traveling together. The hot tub was definitely a favorite hang out! The house has good amenities as far as kitchen supplies. However, we found the other amenities lacking. There was only one towel and wash cloth per person and only 3 beach towels so we spent quite a bit of our trip doing laundry. There were also no kitchen towels upon arrival and those didn't get delivered until 2 days into our trip. Overall, I would recommend this house. However, we found Vacasa to be lacking a bit in customer service.

Beach Front Made It Worth It

We loved that the house was right on the beach and we had access to it. The views were amazing! The house was a little weather beaten but it was nice and clean but missing a few things. There weren’t enough dishwashing pods for our stay and they only left one trash bag. We couldn’t find extra blankets or sheet for the pull out bed. We did find some cockroaches in the house. We loved that it fit all of us and we were rarely in the house so it worked. It could be a bit better by little things but overall a nice home.

The access to the beach was the best part of this property. Cleanliness was just ok - I sat at the bar once I arrived and my arm stuck to what seemed to be pancake syrup from previous guests. There was a fine coat of sand on the floors. While this is to be expected that close to the beach, I didn’t expect it when we first walked in. We saw several cockroaches during our stay and we cleaned and swept every night. One of the bathrooms even had a light fixture that was hung upside down. There was damage on the ceiling of the living room that made us concerned about a leak in that area.The signage around the house providing information and instructions were outdated causing us bit of concern and confusion.Small creature comforts would have gone a long way, like extra paper towels and trash bags, 2 ply toilet paper, extra towels in the bathroom. It was very obvious that there is very little invested in the home or for the comfort of the guests in comparison to the price I paid to stay here.

Outdated Home with Many Problems

The pictures of the home do not do justice to the terrible quality of this home. Broken beds, uncomfortable mattresses, poorly stocked kitchen, dirty upon arrival, and trash stored in the garage are just the tip of the iceberg. Lots of cosmetic issues that could be overlooked if the quality of the house was up to par. There were zero resources available upon arrival to guide us to the nearest grocery store or restaurant. Very disappointed with this property.

Beautiful beach and small town feel

Our family enjoyed the unusually warm week in October and this house is just a short set of stairs away from the sand. We were underwhelmed with the kitchen and the availability of supplies needed to cook at the house (severely lacking in all cooking utensils). It was also difficult to tell the main level master room was quite small and the bathroom is very tight and without a vanity (pedestal sink). This was a challenge for our grandparents staying in the home on that level. There was also a lack of end tables and lamps in the bedrooms. Again, traveling with older family members where these were missing comforts. Overall, the proximity to the beach was a family favorite but would choose to stay at another property during our next trip with more amenities available.

Avoid!

Air conditioning was broken all week long! House does not look like pictures. It is very worn. Upstairs shower didn’t work. Grill was originally advertised and then removed. It was disgusting. Very disappointing. And poor communication. I’m still trying to get some compensation. Ridiculous. Ruined a family reunion. We were sweating the entire time in the house.

Great location house needs serious TLC

The location is fabulous and the house set up is perfect for multiple families with kids. All of the doors require new locks and knobs due to salt erosion so they didn't close properly or you got locked outside. The house was dirty on arrival even as other reviews referenced this issue. Dust dripped from ceiling fans and slated closet doors. Broken outside steps, mattresses without covers, questionable bunk bed ladders. Trash everywhere in garage and overgrown access to the outdoor shower. I defrosted the mini fridge upon arrival due to ice buildup making it warm and unusable. VRBO fees extremely excessive in addition to fees through Vacasa. Way too expensive for the quality of the rental. Could be a great house, it's unfortunate no one cares.

Horrible

House not locked upon arrival, key pad not working. Dirty laundry in front hallway, didn’t get picked up for days. A horrible odor through house, washer filled with dirty, smelly water. Took 4 days to get a new washer, unacceptable! Lower deck & shower unusable due to weeds blocking the path and old broken furniture and rusted grill on deck. Garage unusable due to trash.. Upper deck furniture in need of a deep cleaning due to mold. We were extremely disappointed and expect some compensation for all the issues that we had to deal with on our family vacation! This home is in need of lots of TLC! We have never had any issues like this with any rentals through VRBO!
