Kick your vacation up a notch at superb oceanfront Alelleo's Retreat. The ground level has good parking, a carport, double showers, and the home is an easy walk to the beach. The first floor has a laundry room, an elevator, a furnished recreation room with a murphy bed, an entertainment center, a minibar with a small fridge, and a half bath. The first bedroom has a queen bed, a TV, and a full bath. Level two begins with a small, well-stocked library. The oceanfront second bedroom has a queen bed, deck access, and a TV. The third bedroom has two bunks, deck access, and a TV. Both are close to a convenient hallway bath. The oceanfront fourth bedroom has a king, deck access, a bath, and a TV. The third story great room has tall ceilings, comfy resort furnishings, an entertainment center, a wet bar with an ice maker, a fridge, and a half bath. A well-equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar is the perfect spot to send meals out to the oceanfront dining table or screened porch. Wide furnished sundecks provide extraordinary ocean and beach views. The upstairs fifth bedroom has a king, a TV, a full bath, and a private deck. Perfect vacations begin and end at Alelleo's Retreat.

Things to know:
You will be required to sign an additional lease agreement upon making a booking which will be sent to your email. You will not be able to check-in until we have received your signature electronically. Please contact us directly if you do not receive this agreement.
Please note: Guests have access to the Club Hatteras Pool Facility. Additional details around this facility will be shared in your check-in email and during the check-in process. The club is typically open Mid-May to Mid-October, depending on the weather.

Great house for family

This house was very spacious for our family and had so many items in the kitchen to make cooking much easier. The walkway to the beach has a gap which makes it more difficult if you are using a beach cart to tote your beach items. A few areas of the house were outdated but overall it was a great house for our family. We would definitely book this house again.

Great house

House was great and very clean when we checked in. We had a small issue halfway through the week, the staff was quick to respond and come out to fix the problem. We really appreciated the ease of being able to text them and get an immediate reply. Beds and couches were comfortable and though we couldn’t find anything specifically stating if linens were provided or not there were sheets on all the beds except the full sized Murphy bed downstairs and towel sets in all the bathrooms, in case someone else wanted to know that!

I have been staying in and around Salvo for the past 30 years. This home is the best by far. Very spacious and user friendly. Easy access to the beach. Love the boardwalk and elevator. Well equipped for a great stay.

A week in Salvo

The house has a great layout and super functional for multiple families. Can’t beat the location and neighborhood but the house desperately needs a deep clean! Bed comforters need a good wash or upgrade.

Great house

Excellent location with a short walk over the dunes to the beach. A lot of stairs so the elevator was a blessing. Appliances need updating. Worth coming back again.

Good beach house

It was a great house and a good location. The hot tub was nice but the house was not very clean. Floors where sticky, sandy, and it looks like everything was just swept under the couch and tables. Still had a great time.

Good location, comfortable house

Could use some updating and a little maintenance (such as screen replacements, repair of locks on most sliding glass doors) but overall a great place to stay. The layout gives you plenty of space for multiple groups. The kitchen and bar areas are well stocked (including even a crock pot - I have never seen that in a rental before). Getting significant groceries is a bit of a challenge but the convenience stores are well stocked. Recommended for mostly peace and quiet.

Great house!!

The house was great but the views is what made it! The house could definitely be cleaned better and that’s apparent. Hair, sand, and dirt everywhere. On the floors, tubs, sinks, counters, drawers. Not the owners fault, just lazy cleaning crew.

Great location

The house is in a great location with plenty of space for 2 families to enjoy. Something to note is that it’s right next to a busy public beach access so there will be a lot of people walking to and from the beach. Overall it’s a pretty nice place with a short walk to the beach and a ton of boogy boards and sand toys. That said, the house was not clean at all. We left it cleaner than before we got there, which says a lot considering we had 6 kids between the 2 families. It desperately needs a good deep cleaning, and then it would be rated SO much higher!

Nice property

Could use some updating, overall nice home. Great views on 4th floor. Hard to find driveway at night. Elevator only goes to 3rd floor. No grill. Boogie boards, sand toys. No chair's for the beach. About 5 minute walk up hill to the beach on wooden deck.

Nice place

First time vacationing in OBX. Not a huge fan of the long-ish walk to the beach, and uphill walk on the beach coming back. We are used to being RIGHT ON the beach with not far to walk. Plenty of parking, and the house was plenty large for 6 adults and 3 kids. Kitchen was nicely equipped with utensils, pots, pans, cups, etc. There was also some beach equipment provided too! Beds were decently comfortable for a rental. Elevator was definitely a nice touch and helped big time with unpacking the vehicles and grocery store trips. Outdoor seating was abundant and the hot tub was great after a day on the beach. Very quiet area, but pretty far from activities and restaurants in KDH/Nags Head. Overall it was a nice trip. We would stay ant this house again if the actual location of it was a bit better more like what we are used to.

Nice Home

The home was nice but was not very clean. Also the 6:00 pm check in was a little later than we like. We arrived 1 1/2 hours early and called to see if we could go ahead and check in and was told no. Other than that, we enjoyed the house and our time there. The elevator was perfect as we had our parents with us and stairs are very hard on them. The walkway to the beach was very nice as well. We wished we could have enjoyed the beach more but the Nor’easter that came in the day we checked in, kept us inside most of the week. We love the Outer Banks and will be back.

Property needs maintenance and updating. Barbeque was useless

Wood Deck needs to be replaced allot of splinters accident waiting to happen..hot tub area no lights and light in hot tub did not work. Facilities are old kitchen and bathrooms. No Ocean view. Driveway needs repairs my car drug bottom.

Great location and spacious house. Dusty house.

Overall we had a good experience but the house was dusty and several people in our group were suffering from allergy attacks while in the house. We actually found feathers in the house and some pet hair. I would not recommend this house to anyone who has allergies. On a positive note, the house was spacious, lots of outdoor spaces, elevator was great to get groceries up the the third floor kitchen, access to the beach was relatively good.

Needs some work.

This could be a great house. It's big, airy, nicely appointed for the most part. But the rusty broken refrigerator and broken handle on the oven were remarked about in the guest book months ago, and nothing was done. The house was not very clean when we moved in. We washed all the bathroom rugs because they were gross. Replace the appliances and clean the place! Could be great, but we are looking elsewhere for 2022.

Not what we expected.

Upon arrival we were extremely disappointed to see that the cleanliness was not what we saw online when booking this property. The floors, kitchen counters and bathrooms were dirty. There was trash littering the yard. The kitchen housewares were in sub par condition. There was 1 dining room chair that was unusable. The toilet seats and bathroom shower all needed to be replaced.

Good Fun for my Whole Family, Great House

We all had a great time. Salvo is a great beach town, off the beaten path, not commercial and quiet. The dunes in front of the house are awesome. It does block the viewer the beach some, but it was very natural. We even saw ocean deer. Lots of birds too. You can see the horizon and some ocean views on the upper deck and more ocean views from the top deck. The beach is not even kind of crowded, everyone has their own space. It was extremely windy while we were there. I suppose it's the nature of that place. My father bought a $25 market umbrella that was the only thing that held up. The ocean is very rough. Don't get caught out too far and watch for rips. The layout of the house is great. Plenty of space for everyone. The bedrooms are plenty big and the bathrooms are very huge. The owners have upgraded to flat screen TVs. The one in the family room is enormous, although it wasn't on much. The family room also has a much larger, very nice couch then what's shown in he current picture. We all enjoyed sitting outside in the evenings together on the upper deck. The two outdoor showers were of great use and just fine. We caught as many croaker as we could. There's plenty of room to fish. I hope we can all come back soon. What a fun, very relaxing time.
