Close to the slopes, mtb trails, views, local tips
We host the way we like to travel: easy, cozy, and pet-friendly! No cleaning fees, no chores, and no weird dog rules. You’ll have driveway parking and ground-level access to the unit, self check-in, and flexible arrival or checkout when available. We’re happy to be as hands-on (or off) as you prefer. Just 4 minutes from I-70 but feels miles away in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood and surrounded by views of New York Mountain and Castle Peak. Come relax and make yourself at home.
You’ll have your own private, ground-level entrance to our cozy lockoff apartment with plenty of driveway parking and easy access. WiFi is included, and Roku is set up with a few streaming services, perfect for relaxing after a day in the mountains.
The space is set for 4 adults, but families are always welcome! Message us if you’re bringing kids. We can usually fit a few more little ones and have baby gear like a pack ’n play, high chair, hiking backpack and small mattress available. If you give us enough notice, we might be able to find activity-specific gear for you.
The kitchenette has all the essentials: coffee, tea, sugar, oil/butter, and basic spices, plus a two-burner hotplate, air fryer, toaster oven, and kitchen staples. Guests often tell us it’s small but mighty, with everything needed to cook real meals. City Market is 3 minutes down the road for any last minute needs, but always feel free to ask us if you need something for a recipe.
While the unit itself doesn’t have direct mountain views, the outdoor space makes up for it! Enjoy the firepit, sun loungers, or grill area, all with stunning views of the valley and surrounding peaks.
NO CHORES We host the way we like to travel: no cleaning fees, no laundry lists, no stress. Checkout is hotel-style. No need to strip beds, take out trash, or deep clean. Just leave used towels noticeably used, check appliances are turned off, and lock the door behind you.
FLEXIBLE ARRIVAL OR CHECKOUT If the schedule allows, we’re happy to offer early check-in or late checkout. Just give us a heads-up so we can coordinate with our cleaners.
A NOTE ON NOISE We’re a quiet family, but our kitchen shares a wall with the apartment. You might occasionally hear us at mealtimes or when the garage opens. The master bedroom is above the unit, but the house has good bones and the noise is minimal. You'll probably hear a shower turn on around 7am.
TRAVEL TIPS Please review our cancellation policy before booking. Winter weather can be unpredictable, and mountain driving requires AWD/4WD and good tires. Consider travel insurance if you’re worried about road closures. If you’re rerouted due to weather, reach out - we’ll do our best to help with alternate routes or updates. Links aren't allowed on airbnb, but cotrip DOT org and isvailpassopen DOT com are great sites for updates.
