“Accommodations here are great! Plenty of room to have your own space if you’re staying with a group. The decks are very private and enhanced the stay. Home is clean, kitchen and bathrooms well-equipped. Location is great - short drive to downtown, airport, Churchill Downs. Many, many, many bars, restaurants, distilleries, breweries to choose from!” Karen, April 2025
“The house was perfect for our needs being in town for Bourbon & Beyond music festival. There was plenty of room for our party of 6. We loved how every floor had its own patio level...would definitely recommend this house for a small group in town for an event or just to be within walking distance for many breweries.” William, September 2025
“The house was really nice exactly like the pictures. It was very accommodating for our group. Not too far from many attractions. Would stay again!” Deanna, August 2025

Great place to stay for a fun time in Louisville. Very clean and close to lots of breweries, Nulu, the Highlands, and downtown. Great communication with the host. Would definitely stay here again.
The house was very clean and really probably nicer than the images show. Host was amazingly accommodating and on point with responsiveness. Would recommend!
Glen was great to work with, and the property was great - their recent remodel was beautiful, while still maintaining its charm and historic character that fits with the neighborhood. Really loved our first visit to Louisville and would love to come back sometime soon; hopefully in the same place.
The house was at a great location and we enjoyed our stay. It would have been nice if the basement bedroom was insulated to keep out the upstairs noise and there was at least a half bath. The communication with the host was good and shared a lot of information about the area.
My group of 6 had a lovely stay at the Brew & View property. It was the perfect size for 6 adults with the rooms far enough away from each other for privacy and common areas being very spacious. We loved the convenience of the house to downtown Louisville as well as the Nulu area. House was clean and well stocked for our 3 night stay. We did a mix of walking and short Lyft drives to get around town at all times of the day. Overall, this was a great find and a great value.
If you are looking for a place to stay in Louisville, look no further! View and Brew is a great place to stay. Close to everything you would want to do! The house was clean, decorated accordingly to it's name (so many cute signs), sitting out on the deck relaxing with a drink was great and the communication with both the owner and property manager was amazing. We will be back!
Wonderful property! The home was expertly restored. Spacious & clean. Great communication & details about the home in the owners manual. Convenient location even if you are not visiting the breweries. Plan to recommend to our brewery loving friends.
Excellent stay. Really appreciated the small touches ie. the cold pitcher and glasses in the fridge. Better directions to the alley for rear parking would be appreciated as we arrived after dark. Will decimates stay again!

Thanks Donna for the review! I have added better instructions for the alley access and a detailed map. Hope to host you again next time you're in town!
House was clean and decorated nicely. It was easier to park on street (as our host suggested beforehand)--our stay was during a winter storm. Our only recommendation is to include that the basement bedroom does not have central heat (space heaters were used)--completely understandable due to the age of the house (though it has been renovated well and is very charming). Overall, great stay!
This house is just what we needed. We came to visit Cave Hill cemetery and to bike the greenways in Louisville and across the river in Indiana. Since we were going to split up and had only one car, half the party was able to walk to the cemetery in less than 10 minutes and the other half drove over to the riverfront park in less than 15 minutes. We could walk over to the many restaurants and shops in the area. We arrived to find the house in immaculate condition. It is modern, spacious and well appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook several meals, and even had a pitcher to make tea in. We were impressed that some of the receptacles had USB ports so we could charge numerous devices at once. There is a fenced-in locked patio where we could put our bikes every night. We loaded and unloaded every day in the rear parking area which was very easy and convenient. Parking on the street is also very convenient and probably preferred since it’s so close. Overall, this property surpassed what we were expecting. Excellent communication with the owner made everything a breeze. We’d love to come stay here again in the future!
we had a great stay here. house as advertised and very clean and convenient to things that louisville has to offer. very good communication with Fredie the property owner. will stay again next time in louisville !
We had a great time staying at this property. It was a perfect location near lol the things we wanted to do in Louisville. It was also well located for our various trips on the bourbon trail. The host was easy to reach and would always answer our questions quickly.
