Location

If you are looking for a true beach vacation with your family, this home works well. A bit of a drive to amenities, but we were looking to stay at the house the majority of the time so was not a negative for us.

Great stay

Beautiful location for us as we were looking for low key, relaxing. It really is not that far for most any thing you want to do. Before the weather decided to not cooperate we were able to watch the dolphins from the living room while they played or swam past. It was an awesome stay & looking forward to coming back again.

House was kept real cool, but they also have ceiling fans and other fans in all bedrooms. Open concept is nice for everyone to be able to join in the conversations. Kitchen is large so more than one can work at a time. Located right on the beach. Our 2 favorite places was the outdoor screened in area which has a ceiling fan and the chairs underneath. The WiFi and Apple TV was extremely nice especially since that is what we have at home.

People from the North were happy!

Great Getaway!

The property is well kept and in a lovely area. The closeness to the water is great! It is very close to the sound of waves and the beach area is fun. The home is comfortable and up to date. Only minor thing - needed a little more essentials like salt/pepper, coffee filters, but no biggie. We had a lot of items as we knew we would be further away from shopping. Overall it is a very, very nice place.

Our stay at Chasing Mermaids July 2019

We had a beyond great stay at Chasing Mermaids! The location was perfection! The house fit our group of 9 perfectly! I rated the check-in process as 4 stars ONLY because of the requirement to physically be present at check-in. Other Vrbo rentals we’ve used have all done so via email. The staff at the real estate company was very friendly and accommodating. This is a great beach home if you’re looking for more of a private beach location. We love to stay out in the Fort Morgan area for this very reason. Overall, we would highly recommend this house!
