Barrel Proof Stays welcomes you to The Stables on Baxter – a 140-year-old converted horse stable in the heart of Louisville. Stable #2 is bright and fun with games, unique features and is only minutes from Nulu & Downtown! The Bardstown Rd/Baxter Ave corridor is a 1/2 blk away. The shared courtyard offers our guests mini golf, two grills & fire pits, abundant seating and an umbrellaed table.

Please note that this unit is located in a lively urban commercial area. The one bedroom faces the busy road of Baxter Ave. It can be very active with people and cars until late in the evening or very early morning. Noise is likely. We have provided a white noise machine and earplugs to help with this issue.

This amazing 3-bedroom, 2-bath home offers a bold stay with amazing amenities. The home can handle large groups and families. We have 2 King and 2 Queen beds among 3-bedrooms. Each room is elegantly designed with high-end finishes. Each bedroom has its own TV for privacy. 4 TVs in all throughout the home!

The courtyard is large and open. There is abundant seating around our two gas fire pits and a putting green for those who want to take a swing. If that's not your thing, you can grill and chill sitting at the picnic table featuring a solar-powered umbrella.

This unit minutes away from distilleries, Nulu and Downtown and just steps away from the Bardstown Rd/Baxter Ave corridor where you'll find restaurants, shopping and entertainment

We had a wonderful time. The home was exactly as described and met our needs as a family of 7. We especially appreciated the walkable neighborhood with so many great shops and restaurants nearby (although it did get a bit loud at night). All in all, we'd highly recommend this spot.

Upon arrival the space was exactly as described and very clean! Communication with the host was great! Jay got back to me quickly with any questions I had. The Main Street had lots of food options and there was a yarn shop across the street that was super cute and had a very friendly dog to greet you! Pizza place almost next door was lively at night and had great pizza! To get to the heart of town was a quick rideshare away! When we did drive places we had zero issues finding a parking spot on the street. There was a coffee pot/single serve that we utilized every morning, coffee pods provided! We didn’t cook there but there were adequate utensils and pots/pans to use. We just would have needed some spices and maybe foil/cling wrap for food. The space was absolutely perfect! We would definitely book this space again! Perfect trip!
