This was our second year at this property. We are a group of college athletes coming to St. Croix for a training trip at the St. Croix Yacht Club. The house is PERFECT for our group! Its close to the club, can fit a bunch of people. We cook dinners in the upstairs and downstairs kitchens. And of course hanging pools side after training is great too.

We understand that this property is recently come under new ownership, and my comments reflect the understanding that some improvements are on the to-do list.The property is nicely situated on a hilltop and catches lovely cooling breezes, there are great views of Buck Island and much of the East end coast.The house was a good fit for my family of 6 adults and 2 teenagers.On our first night, we found very low water pressure and no hot water. The morning revealed hot water pouring from the utility area and running down the driveway. My son turned off the hot water at the shut off and we called the maintenence person who came out right away. A new hot water tank was obtained and replaced that day. Very good service.That same morning we had also discovered a dead chicken floating in our pool. We removed that, but we were all hesitant to use the pool. Chicken soup? Bird flu? No thank you.The shower/ tub in the upstairs master bedroom only worked once. I was told you had to let the water run a whike before it made it to that line. I figured 10 minutes of trickling was time enough, so I got in line to use my kids' bathroom. Inconvenient, but not a deal breaker.The property needs some upkeep and renovation. The sliding doors in particular are worn or damaged.This was our 10th visit to St Croix and we are partial to the East End. Overall, the house was comfortable and suited our needs. Our first day was a little rough but the owner was helpful and very respon

Wonderful villa with great views and easy access to Christiansted. Kitchen has many accommodations for a large group and 6 bedrooms were beautifully decorated. Central gathering space was a hub for all 8 of us and had very comfortable seating. Private pool was clean and spacious. Gorgeous views and the host/hostess were extremely gracious and responsive. I would book here again in a heartbeat.

Very nice host and property manager. Property is actually 2 separate units and was difficult with small children. Top floor was nice and updated; bottom floor needs some improvements. Entire house needs a deep, professional cleaning.

Steve & Dorene are new Owners of this property. We are from the Kansas City, MO area and although we love the seasons, the midwest winters keep getting harder to take. We love the warmth and beauty of the Caribbean. We hope someday to retire here, but for now will continue as a VRBO. While we are not currently on the island, we do have a Property Manager that can be contacted should any problems arise. It is important to us that you have any enjoyable stay.

Why they chose this property

This property sits in a very quiet area. While there are some neighbors they are not right on top of you. The house sets on almost an acre of land and has wonderful views of the Caribbean and Buck Island. It is peaceful while at the same time not far from a grocery or from downtown Christiansted. We love that you can hear the waves crashing and there is almost a constant tropical breeze.

What makes this property unique

This property has amazing views of the beautiful blue waters of the Caribbean and Buck Island along with sailboats as part of the view most days. It is close enough to the water to hear the waves crashing. But far enough away for a large yard and pool for privacy. There is a paved circular driveway with room to park. The house is actually 2 separate units with a kitchen, laundry, living area, 3 bedrooms and 2 baths on each level. The Veranda runs the width of the house of both levels for outside dinning and wonderful views and tropical breezes.
