Host Ramesh Suyal won Billy Arjan Award for the BEST WILDLIFE GUIDE in India in 2014.
The place is situated in the lap of nature, within the buffer zone of Jim Corbett national park, in attractive small village of Teda surrounded by jungle and a short drive to the Amdanda Gate for Jungle safari.
All rooms look out on the garden and jungle, and all are fully furnished with private bathrooms. In the garden you can relax, enjoy the view of jungle trees and watch for birds and wildlife.
The space
Our home has a two-storeyed main building which houses the guest rooms and our family space - shared by me, my wife and our kids.
2x Room Tusker and 2x Wild Boar are on the first floor having independent balconies, and the Room Jackal is situated on the ground floor.
This booking includes One Room Tusker (maximum triple sharing).
The space also has a big open garden area and a large roofed open sitting-cum-dining area.
We have ample parking space in our property and also a small office-cum-library space overlooking the buffer forest.
On a lucky day, we have sighted leopards, rarely tigers from our balconies. And elephants are often sighted trespassing into neighboring farms at night.
Guest access
Guests are free to use their personal spaces and common balconies. The whole garden is open for them and the common dining hall gazebo is free to use. If needed, they can access our small office-cum-library space.
During your stay
I love to interact with guests and
understand their wildlife needs and try to guide them best to my knowledge and experience of over thirty years in Corbett wilderness.
My wife, Asha, interacts sometimes and my kids, though shy, can share some good knowledge of butterflies around.
