This was such a beautiful and relaxing stay! A perfect place for a bigger group. This house made everyone feel safe and special for a bachelorette beach weekend! It had everything we needed and was conveniently located near many different places to explore. The beach front location made for fun afternoons in the sun and relaxing evenings! The bedrooms were so desirable after a long day of activities and allowed for restful sleep! The stairs made for a convenient little workout going up and down but also made for a secluded, private, and safe home to be in!

Thank you so much, Aubrey! I’m glad you all had a great time. I especially appreciate your note on the workout that the stairs had in store for you. Ha! Come back anytime!
Beautiful, cozy place to stay. The stairs down are no joke in the winter but the owners made sure they were clear of snow and lit very well. Great view of the lake and cozy fireplace to sit by while the sun goes down. Would love to stay in the summer!

Thank you for the 5-star review! You’re right—the stairs definitely add to the rustic vibe, but they can be a challenge at times. We appreciate you mentioning it and are so glad you enjoyed your stay. Have a wonderful holiday season, and we hope to see you back this summer!
About the host
Hosted by Maryann
We’re Mary and Jay—parents of three boys and lovers of all things outdoors. Jay is originally from Minnesota and Mary is from Utah. We currently live in Colorado. When we are at the lake house, you can find us making pancakes, fishing off the dock, and enjoying slow mornings by the water. Hosting lets us share the peaceful, nostalgic charm of this cabin with other families and friends.
Why they chose this property
The cabin is nestled in a quiet, wooded neighborhood right on Eagle Lake. It feels like a true Up North pocket—easygoing neighbors, wide-open sky, and the kind of quiet you can feel. We enjoy the simple things most: watching wildlife wander through, taking the sauna as the sun sets, and unplugging from the busy world for a while.
What makes this property unique
Our cabin is one of the few on Eagle Lake with a traditional wood-fired sauna just steps from the door. It’s a guest favorite—especially after a cold plunge off the dock or a sunset paddle. Surrounded by tall trees and tucked off the road, the cabin gives you true privacy and calm while still being comfortable, updated, and family-friendly.
