Tucked away on a European-style gated courtyard, the apartment is incredibly quiet and private, and only steps away from the shops, restaurants and public transportation of Charles Street and Cambridge Street.

The well equipped kitchen has been recently renovated with free in unit laundry, bar and large dining area, adjacent private outdoor patio. The living room boasts a "work from home" station and gas fireplace.

Overall great stay. Easy walk to restaurants and grocery stores. Cute place and comfy. I appreciated how hot the water got. Host was very easy to work with. I also appreciated the easy checkout process. Only improvement I would make is it could have been cleaner. A towel was left hanging on a chair in the kitchen, and hair in the tub and on the ground in the bathroom.

Hello and welcome to my home! I’ve lived in Boston for over 20 years and have been on Beacon Hill for the last 5. I love the charm, beauty and history of the neighborhood and this city. There is no other place like it!

I am a competitive sailboat racer so I know Boston Harbor and Massachusetts Bay very well. I am a member of the Beacon Hill Civic Association and volunteer as a tour guide! I’m happy to provide recommendations, so just ask!

Why they chose this property

Beacon Hill is a beautiful and incredibly charming neighborhood of Boston. It feels like being inside a Charles Dickens novel as the neighborhood is completely reserved from the brick sidewalks, to the gas lamps, to the original townhomes from the 1800's.

The neighborhood is also centrally located and accessible to the best parts of Boston! It is full of shops, restaurants and attractions, and is right next door to MGH hospital and Suffolk University.

What makes this property unique

The apartment is in an original 1890's townhome with many original features and unique characters. The kitchen has been recently renovated and boasts all modern appliances and a private outdoor patio. There is also a gas fireplace in the living room to keep the apartment cozy on winter nights.
