Welcome to Cottage on the Hill, a bright and well appointed tiny home at Firefly Resort. Sitting elevated above the resort with wide open Hill Country views, this home makes the most of its position from the moment you step onto the covered front porch.



The Space:

The covered entry porch with a table and chairs is a welcoming first stop, and the open deck with four Adirondack chairs and a propane fire pit is where most evenings end up. The views from up here stretch across the resort and out toward the rolling Hill Country landscape, making it one of the more scenic spots in the park to simply sit and unwind.

Inside, the living area is clean and comfortable with a convertible sofa, smart TV, and a well stocked kitchen with a center island. The main bedroom features a queen bed with soft neutral bedding, built in cabinetry, and a sliding barn door. Upstairs the loft holds two double beds, a bean bag chair, and plenty of space. Sleeps up to 6 guests.



Guest Access:

Guests have private access to the entire home, including outdoor seating areas, porches, and all resort amenities. Check-in is simple, with easy entry and convenient parking right at the site.



The Neighborhood:

Located within Firefly Resort, surrounded by scenic vineyards, rolling hills, and peaceful Hill Country views. Enjoy proximity to local wineries, dining, and downtown Fredericksburg attractions.



Getting Around:

Driving is the best way to explore the Hill Country. Resort roads are simple to navigate, and local wineries and shops are just a short drive away.



Other Things to Note:

This property has special local compliance requirements which include a signed rental agreement, ID verification, and a security hold of $500(which is not a traditional security deposit, just a pending transaction). As an optional alternative to the security hold, you may opt in to purchase a non-refundable damage waiver provided by a third-party insurance company. The optional damage waiver is $29.00 for stays up to 10 nights, with an additional $1.5 per day for stays longer than 10 nights. Damage waiver purchases are optional.
